Spot on DR!! I have the same issues with my set of fulcrum racing zeros, the slop in the free hub body and the gouges on the hub, now I know what to do to fix it thank you so much !!!!

Go to BSC/CBC or Applied bearing. I think it’s a 61803 2RS you can get bearing in all high quality bearings should be 17mmx 26mmx 5mm . 2 means.....2 seals, you can get single sided seal bearings.

Yep same problem with Fulcrum 1’s. First bearing lasted about 4 months. Replacement bearing lasted a few years but eventually went. I as having inconsistent shifted with the rear di2 mech and then realised the cassette was wobbly. At least it is an easy replacement.

Thanks! I was considering Fulcrum Racing Zeros to replace my Mavic Ksyrium SLs but after watching this there's no way. I've had the Mavics for 8 years and have never had any issues with bearing slop or gouging of the freehub body, plus they're super easy to service.

Hi DR! Awesome video. I’ve had the Fulcrum Racing 1 with the aluminum propeller blades, Eurus with aluminum spokes, and now the Racing Zero carbons. And this will help out a lot! I thought you didn’t like Campy/Fulcrum wheels from vid you did with an inner rim blowout. I will admit you have to service these hubs more often but the stiffness and hub design is such a fast wheel!

You can also get a replacement stainless steal bearing mutch cheaper online; may cost 2 or 3 box for a paar. Nice and informative vid; tanx boss !

Would you recommend the steel fulcrum freehub over the aluminium for durability even if it's heavier?

2rs means 2 rubber seals🤷🏻‍♂️ Wobder why fulcrum removes the inner side rubber seal from the bearing cause it will break due to this🤔 Overhauled a few of these freehubs, including my own. From New they ran mabe 2 seasons and the bearings had to be replaced. And after the overhaul with New bearings and leaving both rubber seals in, I guess it has been 6-7 seasons or so. Until I replaced them at the end of this season - and they werent nowhere near as bad as what your bearings was ...

Get rim brakes. Lighter, cheaper and faster.
