I always appreciate your faithful work through the scriptures. The book of Matthew so far has been incredibly encouraging. I am so grateful to live in a day where we can have a steady diet of the preaching of God's word every day through platforms like youtube.

I've thought about that, how could I possibly accept any gift from the Lord which I know I'm wholly unworthy of? I came to the Lord decimated by my sins of vice (alcohol addiction pretty much as bad as it could get) & I'm certain that the only reason I'm alive today is because the Lord spared me, giving to me any strength at all when I lacked all strength. A dark, lifeless pit entirely of my own making His trials are becoming more difficult upon me lately but the Lord has uplifted me these past few years with peace & hope of a new life in sobriety & the glory will always be His. That I know without a doubt in my mind Great sermon Pastor Joel, I'll keep you & your family in my prayers. You're the real article yourself 🙏

Super helpful and informative message Pastor Joel! I was blessed by my visit to Covenant Bible Church yesterday. I’ll be stopping by every time I come to Georgetown to visit my in-laws from now on. Appreciate you and Wes taking the time to chat with me for a while after church as well. I’ll be praying for you and your church, especially as y’all continue looking for a new location. 🙏🏻

The connotation of "condescend" inverted as European civilization became egalitarian. Originally it meant a breaking of caste norms by the nobility to their inferiors (a big complement).

While the foundation for this message is solid, and frankly eye-opening vis a vis "Jesus not only died for us, but he lived for us". But instead of considering who's sitting in the audience or watching for spiritual connection you lecture something that would succeed in a Spiritual Ted Talk. Information. But not Jesus...Not your audience's mental health based on false premises...if He lived for us then what does that mean to me today...this week...how can I absorb this and cast off my false identity and walk in my blessing from this truth? Just information...showing everyone how smart you are...the head leading the heart. Try harder.
