There’s this palm oil, called Carotene. It’s good for soups. You literally add just a little and it flavors and colors your food. I don’t know if it’s available over there, but I purchase from the African stores here in NY. It’s also available online on Amazon. All the soups look yummy; my mouth is watering.

Mehn! Your bargaining skills💯 I learnt a thing or two
@NazomsCorner4 ай бұрын
Glad it was helpful! I learned the hard way. I still forget to bargain at times, but most times I try to do well. The market vendors also expect you to bargain, so they may hike the price just for the sake of it.

The amount of times I screamed at the price of things in Nigeria now ehhhnnn😳😱 It breaks my heart that a lot of people won’t be able to feed properly anymore. This inflation is insane!!!! Love the vlog by the way😊

Nazom, I bought eggs for 4500 last week. Those fishes are nothing less than 4k each here. About seven small atarado peppers are 500. The meat was a good buy too. You bought really well though but the cost of things are just skyrocketing every second…

Yeah u're right, too much oil is fattening/increase cholesterol level. However, less oil in making stew won't let the stew fry well, it will look cooked instead. I suggest you remove the excess oil after frying the stew ready. 😊

Great point! I do that at times but sometimes it’s too difficult the decant the amount I want to without wasting some of the actual soup.

😅I'm experiencing cultural shock right now..in Nigeria you use that much oil to make stew?..I'm Ugandan and half a tea spoon of oil will suffice or even none at all..however, you're a terrific cook I'm sure.
@NazomsCorner4 ай бұрын
Trust me that was even little. Usually the oil literally forms a thick layer on top that most people don’t even bother to decant.

I stopped watching your videos because of dogs in the parlor,kitchen and rooms. Nigeria is not a clean country so don't copy what the people in the western world are doing by bringing dogs in the kitchen and parlor.
@NazomsCorner4 ай бұрын
Feel free to go and not come back again. My Dog is 100% clean, where he sleeps, eats and visits the vet regularly. Literally is never in a dirty environment or even smells. He is now potty trained too, if you don’t know about Dogs or like them just say that.
