This has been a terrible year. But games like this give us hope for the future. The pitching has been horrendous, especially the bullpen. Winning some games with stellar rotation pitching and some offense makes me think the team will get it going in the next few years.

It seems like every year we have a horrible team, we have a no-hitter or perfect game. Randy Johnson’s perfect game came in the midst of the worst overall year in franchise history (so far), Edwin Jackson’s no-hitter was during another 90+ loss season where the team finished last in the division, and this year needs no explanation

I love baseball because you never know up until the moment that it happens that history could be made on any day from April til October.
