To be honest, I don't see any Filipino references in these fakemon. I haven't actually finished the video, but most of the fakemon that I've seen have no references to Filipino fauna and flora and the culture. The artstyle is very amazing though, very vibrant. (sorry for the text wall LOL)

While leaning towards the water starter, there are so many other good mons with types that would over lap with the starter so I'm gonna do a team of each starter, starting with the water starter Nymble Dracodont (Water/Flying): Only dual typed starter) Bunnectric (Electric/Ground): Torn between its 3 abilities including its hidden one: Gourmetal (Fire/Steel): Despite 4x Weakness to Ground it resists 9 typings, 5 of them double resist Lacrymorsa (Ghost/Fairy): Great typing Arnistix (Bug/Fighting): I know, the 4x flying weakness Seweratt (Normal/Poison): I am aware 1/2 this team is weak to Ground Now the Fire starter Cubby Tigerage (Fire) Buffahett (Water/Ground) A water/ground mon immune to Grass types (Could give Swampert a run for its money); plus Water/Ground is my favorite typing Lobssir (Steel/Fighting) Glitterbug (Bug/Electric) Astradarna (Ghost/Fairy): Another Ghost/Fairy Mon Vamperor (Dark/Flying) Finally The Grass Starter Pupfluer Wolfluer (Grass) Shaodrake (Fighting/Flying) Maruiquinn (Water/Fairy) Another one of my favorite typings, give Primariana a run for its money Radiwrecks (Fire/Ground) Despite the 4x weakness to Water, The Rock Head ability would leat Flare Blitz hit like a truck without recoil damage Glitterbug (Bug/Electric) Shelmount (Ghost/Steel) Great typing

I am leaning towards the water starter too, but there are other good Water type in this fakemon pokedex, so I would choose the grass starter. Nice list you made. Buffaheft with SAP sipper is pretty good.

Going to choose the water starter, Nymble Here my Pokémon Team: 1.Dracodont(Water/Flying 2.Arnistix(Bug/Fighting) 3.Technaught(Electric/Steel) 4.Gifrost(Ice/Ghost) 5.Chiligon(Grass/Fire) 6.Manticrown(Dragon/Poison) Tigerage should've been Fire/Fighting, instead of pure-Fire type.

The Starters of this region have some good looking final evolutions, with that said I would have to choose between Tigerage and Dracodont since I like the former because it’s a different take on the Fire tiger and the latter for both it take on the dragonfly and it’s color scheme in both normal and shiny forms are awesome, I chose Dracodont, Gigabil, Arnistix,Echogecko,Intewoof and Turbotachi as my team. Alternate teammates: Plaguwing,Amphisage, Mangeyote,Pinegreen, Dracotecnic, Shadowl (🦉+🥷🏼=😎👍🏼) Morlocking, Digasdon , Snapdragg and Snowroc.

Welp time for my pokemon team for this region. Starting with Dracodont. Then we have Dracotecnic, Angelaze, Sworlin, Mariquinn, and Radiwrecks. Now hold on because I love more of these pokemon so here's my backup 6. Bascannon, Shelmount, Sawantina, Manticrown, Lacrymorsa, and Astradarna.
