Thanks for the update. Awka and Anambra state in general are fast developing. Kudos to Governor Soludo

@Anambra It's Son, you're doing a great job. Back in the days when I was in UNIZIK, Awka was a glorified village but it made sense. I left UNIZIK in 2006.

I graduated from UNIZIK 2008 and stayed at Odogwu Awka hostel. The whole of the odogwu awka hostel area has really transformed. There was no road linking the area to Unizik temp site. Kudos to those who have made these efforts.

Thanks for updating us. We will get there. The most important is that Awka have population of a capital city. On infrastructures we will get there. Soludo is trying unlike political hooligan that left Awka in deplorable condition and went to Texas dragging his puppy 🐶 in the streets of Texas

The former governor, ex-gov. drunkard Obiano was a disaster. If he had continued with d legacies of ex-gov Peter Obi's and with what Prof. Soludo is currently doing, Anambra state would have been d number one state among the 36 states in Nigeria. Anyway, we will surely get there.

The Soludo administration is doing a good job with Awka. The quality of construction is far better than Onitsha. However, they must reserve some land for parks so that people have somewhere to recreate outdoors. Cities like New York are littered with high-rise buildings yet have some of the best parks in the United States of America. One cannot build up everywhere.

@Anambra1st son thanks for this great inspiring aerial coverage of an impressive capital city of Anambra state. I just finished watching the new all white house bauchi state Governor's lodge commissioned today. That compound is something else. Thanks once again for making my week end a splendid one. I shall tremendously treasure this episode among the onitsha Awka road and GRA baddest man aerial coverage and the hot exchanges with our Yoruba brothers who were literally amazed at the site and sound of the splendour of the beauty of that part of onitsha. Well done and God bless.

Nigerian leaders need to build walkways as well for school children to be able to walk to school instead of walking on the roads. They need to plant trees by the walkway as well, and road furnitures,it will add to the beauty of the area and city. They should try and sweep the roads and take maintenance seriously. Why are people driving on the wrong side of the road? The authourities must do something about it.How can we build a nation if people cant obey simply driving regulations?Thank you.

Beautiful and clean, but more needs to be done, especially by the individuals in regards to sanitation of their houses and environments People in Anambra and SE I general should learn how to build houses and structures with proper landscaping of their compounds and environment. Old houses and shops should be repainted as well.

AGGRESSIVE PLANTING OF TREES,SOLID ROAD SIGN THAT WONT BE CARRIED AWAY BY BREEZ. AND TRAFFIC LIGHTS that must be respected. then watch anambra grow into a civilized society. Also cameras can be placed across the state just like Peter mba of Enugu is currently doing. Encourage night life and leave the rest for ndi igbo home and abroad.
