Def a solid move doing as much Alcantara as you can, the little details count. I'd see what an upholstery shop would charge to mimic the factory Alcantara seat pieces before paying to have two seats shipped from SK.

I think a hall effect senor picks up changes in the magnetic field. But that sensor is for the smart key, which picks up the radio wave from the chip in the key fob.

You definitely gotta find a way to get the heated steering wheel to work!!! Some of the other US trims have it, just not on the N so maybe if you get the button and wiring from a different model? As someone who lives in a place with cold winters, has no garage, and would love to own a 2021 Veloster N someday (in like 5 years maybe lol) I would be very interested to see this done!

Yes they’ll fit you’ll just have to wire them into your interior light

Don’t forget to disable creep in N custom under the transmission details page... doesnt persist through an ignition cycle tho, or any other mode. I find it useful in some traffic situations, drive thrus etc.

I do like that feature, but I don't drive in custom in any situation where I would disable creep. I wish they would have made it persistent!

What's the advantage to disabling creep? I am guessing its smoother to just hit the gas yourself vs the car trying to mimic an torque converter auto?

I find the creep a bit aggressive sometimes like I’m fighting to keep the car from going. As it’s in N custom where you can activate it, I’m sure it has a more purposeful use on the track. If anyone knows... leave it here. And I too wish it was persistent and able to be active in all the modes. At the drive thru I’m in normal mode. I need an N custom 2 for an enhanced normal mode vs my N custom with the suspension slider the only thing ‘lightened’

These were provided by our MOBIS supplier in Korea, and are not available for purchase through them. I know Kim's Garage on Instagram sells them at a pretty decent price (almost MSRP + shipping)

Curious doesn't alcantera wear faster or is prone to stains easier?

It doesn't wear faster, but it can get stained easily. It also picks up oils from hands, so you have to clean it every few weeks!

Not sure what lens your using. It's great for when you're filming yourself, but when you're trynna record something (like the screws and console), it gets all blurry and fries my brain.
