One of my favorite things about this entire apartment is that you stayed true the architectural period of the space, while adding modern elements that compliment the period of the apartment. I am always so jealous of the character of this apartment every time you do a tour. My apartment is a renter grade box to the nines - no alcoves, no quirks, one closet, three windows in total, etc. Our styles are very different, but I have learned about so many rental friendly products from you. As a landlord, I would think most tenants wouldn’t mind the black trimmed windows, the striped arched way in kitchen, the black fireplace, maybe all you’d be required to paint back to white would be the bar room and copper colored dining wall. I presume landlord wouldn’t object to your leaving the shelves in dining room niche. I would definitely invite your landlord up and ask him if there is anything he would like for you to keep as you enhanced it?
