The empty spaces in the Fash tree def give me the feeling that one or two focuses related to Senior Hilter/german exiles will pop up if Germany goes unhistorical. Otherwise, Paradox should honestly just move the fucoses closer together, The empty space makes it look and feel smaller than it really is.

As a hoi4 player and Argie myself I'm a little disappointed, i thought the focus tree would have a bit more options and content but oh well, Argentina finally getting the devs atrention is extremely welcome. Can't wait to hear our accent when selecting units haha

Argentinian being in the Allies would lock down the Southern hemisphere in Africa and South America in terms of trade for the Allies, leaving only Asia as a focus so maybe Argentina gaining access or control over the Falkland Islands is a means to that end. Argentina becomes defacto trade controller and guard in the Southern Atlantic. Would be fun RP.

as an argentinian I'm a bit dispointed with this focus tree, mainly because I feel like there are a lot of stuff in our history that could have been added, for instance there is nothing about the confederation and rosas (this could be like an alt version of the fascist branch) there is nothing about a monarchist path (there could be something about idk san martin's dream because he wanted to make argentina a monarchy) also the communist and fascist branch are very idk thin for me. Some easter eggs could be about a new french kingdom in patagonia (yep that's something it kinda happened) also a full native argentina. I understand you can't play with peron because we became president in 1946 but that also could be an easter egg in 1943. Idk I think that there could be much MUCH more, I know that argentina and south america in general isn't the most interesting part of the world, and I am thankful that finally there is some love for the region, but I still think that this is a lost chance. Sorry for my bad english, cheers

Peronism didn't exist during the time is set in, Peron was still too young. Still, you can get him as a general and Eva as an advisor.

@@zddxddyddw JD Peron was not a kid at the time of the game, but a mature man who was around 40 years old and who was one of the prominent leaders of the GOU fandom who promoted the 1943 coup d'état. It is true that Perón would not come to power, like his Peronist movement, until 1945. But it is a perfectly plausible historical license, in the same way that pockets have been introduced in the middle of the Cold War, as has been done in other countries. Just as it would also be perfectly plausible to put Ho Chi Min and the Vietminh or Nasser and Pan-Arabism in future content of the game

its nuts how unhistorical the historical path tree is, as well how little debuffs corruption gives, its like 1930s argentina was a complete political paradise. but tbf, if they did made the historical path, actualy historical, and the corruption as bad as it sounds, argentina would be the worst nation in hoi4, specialy if peron was involved.

I think this DLC would be overpowered like the previous one or noone will buy it. Has someone checked how many nation modifier has Finland after the tech tree? Compare with the older countries... It is a shame.

17:48 tbh, I kind of hope that isn't the case. Historically, (if you know already, skip a paragraph) Argentine forces did take the Falklands, but the British didn't back down, of course. Argentina thought they would be able to pull this off since the U.K. couldn't really be considered an Empire anymore by 1982. To put it simply and crudely, they thought there wouldn't be much chance the Brits would actually come to fight. During this time period (hoi4), I see no chance of Britain backing down during peacetime. I could see a % chance of them backing down if you make the landings, hold the islands for a month or something. While the U.K. is at war there would be a higher % chance they give in if things aren't going too well for them - lower if it is. If you have caused less world tension, that could help too.

Most of these countries served a very minor or (Minor at best) role in the war, and since the region doesn't have as much historical background for weird larp focuses I think this is fairly good.
