Definitely needed an entire box of kleenex for this one. Mike lived every single moment like it was his last. I love how the author showed how Mike impacted each of the friends and family members in his life. It's such an amazing story! 💖

This audio book did my heart so good. I have been isolating myself since my uncle passed a year a half ago. Between 2020 & 2022 I lost over 4 family members. My mom’s brother’s who were like fathers to me. Two of my 4 relatives passing within 45 days of each other. I have been questioning life and what the point is of even doing things if we are just going to drop dead one day. But listening to this has given me new perspectives. THANK YOU!!!! ❤

What a great story. It took a bit for my brain to understand the flashback scenes and keeping all the characters straight. For me, that might work better in actually reading the book, as opposed to listening. I’ve listened to several of your books and have enjoyed them all.

Thk U, another perfect “Pyramid of characters”. Mike, glorious Mike at the pinnacle, w/ his many many gifts left to those who had, had life-experiences interactions during his very short life. Beautiful thorough examination of each & his annual celebration of life to regroup & nurturing night of begin- -again. Loads of Joy, life lessons, heart wrenching conclusion in pictures….Cynthia you never disappoint.

Few chapters were confusing. I have to rewind if i missed something. Mike kissed Amanda. Then next chapter Amanda’s boyfriend is Colleen. Next, Evan had surgery. Then Alexis and Evan are together how did it happened?
@CindyGunderson11 ай бұрын
Each chapter is a year apart!! The book follows their lives for twelve years!
@laineciccotti97489 ай бұрын
Easy to follow the threads of clues that reach each years circumstances…#1 clue to Mike’s mindset was his p/u of Amanda, her hostess gift poinsettia, the guest list run through he describes to Amanda; PHD’s, Engineers, Investors …that was coy! The erratic driver avoidance, then surprise very loud crash.
