My tip for staying balanced with your eyes closed: keep looking forward. When I close my eyes, my attention redirects on over focusing on my body, so if I keep my attention still trying to look forward, I do a lot better. Great video for all levels. Thank you! :)

I'm an older dancer (29) and had a baby 14 months ago. It really wrecked my pelvic floor and hip stability. I love baby and would gladly do it again, but it's been a journey. I haven't gotten back to where I was, but I'm getting there. If anyone else is on that journey, that first set of releve exercises...I really felt those in a good way in my hip flexors and stabilizers. (Disclaimer: I'm more than a year out. That's probably not a great place to start if you're only a few months out of baby. Be kind to your body. Giving vaginal birth is body trauma. C-sections are even more body trauma. I know that people don't like birth being "medicalized," but I had to allow myself to see it like coming back from an injury. I didn't have diastasic recti, but I did have pelvic floor dysfunction. There is light at the end of the tunnel, there is recovery and healing).

I've been doing your previous strength and stretch workout video every day for 2 weeks, and I'm balancing way longer than I ever had and I have been noticeably gaining more muscles. I dislocated my knee 6 weeks ago, so I wanted to test how strong my knee was after isolating it for 2 weeks and endless rehab and crutches, so tried it. Let's just say on the first few days my legs couldn't stop shaking. Your exercises are so effective! Can't wait to try this! Thanks Katie!
