Yall gotta remember... the SRT has cold air induction (which is what that Hell Cat box is) making it so his car runs better. Remember that old adage "Suck, squeeze, blow" essentially what this means is the more air you suck through the intake (coming through the headlights, i.e. the Suck portion) forces more air into the cylinders (i.e. the squeeze portion) which in turn makes more horsepower. As a final stage of the cold air intake, the exhaust valves on the heads open forcing more air out of the cylinders which forces the piston speed to increase therefore increasing horse power, (i.e. the blow portion). In reality even though that car Dyno'd at 436 hp I think he said. This would increase the horsepower to well over 500. Making it so he will win most if not all races. This was first implemented in the early days of drag racing to increase engine performance and to internally cool the engine as well as the radiator cooling the outside of the engine. Making it less liable to heat soak the engine. Its a very simple mod, that when done correctly has astronomical effects on the cars ability to perform.

When you get in a car that is certified 300whp to the ground youll see a massive difference. the V8 of that year makes around 300 wheel. a little over. and its not beating the G8 GT. alot of audis are just 2.0 turbo Volkswagon engines. making 223hp to the crank. so gapping that can happen all day long. mustang V6's are the same story where they make low 200 crank let alone wheel, even my buddys V8 4.7 mustang dynoed out at 224 Wheel. i have a 2014 focus ST thats stage 3, i thought i was making 300whp for the longest time since i was running 23PSi of boost with full bolt ons and cobb tune. i dyno it to find out im hitting 270 wheel. so i get a meth injection kit and tune for that and when i spray meth now the car makes 320 wheel. and the difference gos from fun jumpy car with progressive speed. to violent acceleration past 100mph. itll do over 160mph spraying now with just constant pull untill 145ish. before the met kit the car hit 156 after staying on it for awile and letting off after i had enough and got scared, maybe 20+ seconds WOT. idk if you have a G meter in your car. but prior to meth injection on a hard pull rolling from 40 the car would pull 0.6G back in the seat. with meth ive had it hit 0.76G. 300 wheel is no joke. when your making 300 wheel your going to think your making 400, thats how hard it pulls. at 270 i thought i was at 300+ the ST motor is deceiving though because it makes 360 wheel torque, so it has a very violent take off. go dyno your car and youde be surprised how little wheel horse you need for a car to feeel fast. you might be making 225 wheel. and that doesnt mean its slow, everyone is caught up on crank horse numbers these days and dont take drivetrain loss into account. AWD cars always take a Fat L on drivetrain loss. 19+% of your power just to power the tranny, both differentials and the wheels/systems. 300crank AWD is making 240 wheel about. unless it has efficient drive train components. but no chance a v6 G8 with a filter and no tune is putting out 300 wheel. mt buddy john owned the GT model of a G8 and the car is heavy and had 300+ wheel and wasnt ripping cars down in races. power to weight ratio is all that matters. your car is 3800 pounds with no one in it. 0-60 in 7.6 seconds tested. 7.2 seconds with a slight roll that G8 with over 300 wheel is doing 5.8 second 0-60's a 253 crank horse focus ST stock was running 5.9's due to it being 3200 pounds. do some 0-75's in your car and see what kind of numbers you come up with the V6 G8 fourms are saying the car gets sluggish after 75mph at 300 wheel youll be doing 110+ on accident when messing about on the expressway doing random pulls.

100% This car has something done to it. I have full bolt ons on my 2019 GT, tuned on 93. Wipe stock 392's off the road all the time. This SRT is most definitely not stock. Tuned with internals most likely. You have to have almost no knowledge about cars to think a stock SRT with less horsepower that weighs 574 pounds more would smack that GT like that. Get real people.

Rush’s laugh at 7:04 pretty much sums it up. Don’t know why people are surprised. I’ve beat camaros and mustangs stock for stock. Once the 6.4 breaks in there is more power, I have noticed that for sure. I think Rush should keep side boo. The 2017 mustangs don’t have the same power as the 2018’s . They’re rated at 435 fwhp, my widebody ran the Dyno at 435 rwhp. The 392’s are under rated, they are more close to 505 than 485. And coupled with the 8 speed , they are very good n/a in stock form. Stock for stock the 15 and up 392’s are hard to beat....

2017 Mustangs are rated 435 crank, not WHP. My 2014 is full bolt-on, and it's been dyno'd at 440 RWHP. I'm guessing this Mustang's at 460-ish, RWHP, not to mention it's lighter. The driver sucks at shifting or the SRT has something done to it.

My prediction having owned 2 challengers with the 392 is he’s running catless midpipes or gutted cats with a custom dyno tune at least. I’ve done a lot of races against a lot of the cars he’s ran and stock there’s no way I would pull on em like he does and I was at sea level with temps in the 60s. After intake, catless mids, 3inch exhaust with H pipe, and a custom tune I finally started pulling on cars like he does. Factory freak I really doubt it. But love the races now I wanna see him mod it if it really isn’t.

6.4L HemiPower bruh be real. U and I both know an FBO e85 5.0 will outrun a stock 392. I outrun stock 392s in my stock 6speed 2018. Not but much but I do. It’s usually a good run.

I know for a fact that Srt isn’t stock. I’ve got to many races under my belt against them when I had my 5.0s and a stock one will not do what yours is doing. But either way good races and nice cars period.

Not to sound like a hater, but 436whp?? (515 at the crank) Was that a friendly dynojet? Or do you have a tune? Diablo “claims” scat packs gain 20whp and that’s pretty spot on to what you have. Also how do you delete your catalytic converters without needing a tune? Wouldn’t your check engine light come on? Unless 2015+ Chrysler Vehicles allow it. Kind of wish y’all popped his hood too. Because he doesn’t really sound like it’s FBO. Oh and his light adds 40 to the wheels.. he should have gapped you. Lol
