What a shame I have only just seen this video.. I worked on the preproduction F-types at browns lane plant and also as a rectifier as Castle Bromwich Plant. Can probably change "Topper Pad" in less than 2 hours.. Shame I would have loved to have come and done if for free..

What a nice gesture! I'd love a SVR. I owned a V6S for a few years and fell in love with the F-type; what a sound track that car has.

Fun fact the f types engine noise has been omitted into the British motor Museum as the last v8 petrol 😢

One of the best video's I have seen in ages. I can't believe that a couple of guys who couldn't change a brake pad 2 years ago are KZbin content hero's. They remind me of the early episodes of Wheeler Dealer. It's no surprise to me that monster channels like DDE are now pivoting to your content format.

With the light looms you can get off scrap yards from other vehicles, ford's, its a Bosch maf too. You did great but you could of cut costs other ways.. if you even need wiring diagrams give us a shout.

Have loved Jag since XJ Vanden plas in the 80s 90s before the founder died and it became ford. I love anything super wide and super low... Like 60s inpalas.

It's great you show the whole rebuild in one vid. Yes it's as long as a feature film but you leave it and come back to it. Not that I did. Too often folks put up one phase of the job then promise another soon. And then you miss it. I always wanted to do something like you are doing but never had the the time, the place or the bollocks to do it. In my 70's now so watching a dream.

Hi Chris and team ...*cheddar 44:51* Episode 25 ...wow 😳😳! That's flown mate. I've enjoyed one for different reasons and from day one up until now it's just improving and improving. The switch between preferred joinery etc ...makes each episode fresh and different and I'll never get bored of watching craftsmen making hard jobs look far easier than they are.... Totally agree with payment terms. You agree to the cost ... payment terms and you pay ... they'd never expect a meal without paying for it 😊 James Landscapes....seems a decent lad and rocking the guns, tats and sandals😮 ...I see loads of lads in crocs , sliders and shorts for work....wtf 😂😂😂 Comfy but not safe 😮 Well done to the Gilet winners ...well done boys and generous of you Chris 🙏 We've had a lovely week of weather....let's hope it continues a little longer 🙏🙏🙏 🐝 safe, 🐝happy Gary 🦉🦉

Great work Chris. I am a tradesman spray painter over here in South Australia and have been repairing crash damaged cars in my spare time and have managed to make money on every car I’ve rebuilt because I do most of the work myself. I really like seeing what you’re doing and I hope you keep making these videos for us to watch. I also appreciate you adding it all up and showing just how much it is really costing you. Keep up the good work. 👍

What I like the most about your video and why I subscribed was that you showed it start to finish and I didn't have to suffer through watching a 6 month build and I watched it from start to finish great job but I knew you were going to be way over on such a limited model and a newer car and jaguar is notorious for there depreciation 😢.

That's a beautiful car. wish I had some extra cash. I only have a 2007 mazda 3 4 door sedan with 2.0L 5spd. I'd love to turbo charge it, put a full sport exhaust on it, a sport suspension, 18" wheels and a nice body kit. I had a.Newr engine, New clutch, newr transmission installed and stock struts and springs. It's all Stock, but I'd love to give it some more horsepower with a turbo and maybe a chip in the ecu and throw in a 6spd transmission on top of it. It's not a Jaguar, but I love that little car. Even with the stock suspension and new tires, the car is small and low to the ground, so it handles really good around and of the windy roads where I live, but its just not fast enough. I wish I had the money to build it.

Reminds me of when me and a mate were stripping an E46 to make a track car so dash out for roll cage - it was my car and he broke the windscreen removing the A pillar airbag. Swiftly followed by me doing exactly the same thing on the other side. These things happen!!

Build was a massive gamble. You are very brave taking it on and compared to what you bought ot looks good. The fit on the drivers door looks bad which would explain the wind noise but you can't have ot all with a high date car. Top job👍🏻

I have a XJR X350 4.2 SC and if the battery voltage drops even by 1 or 2 volts it throws up all sorts of spurious dashboard faults. So I would put the battery on charge and see if that cures the faults.

Hi Chris, LR tech here thought you should know 13:54 the number you’re looking at is an engineering number here and not a part number you’ll have more trouble searching via a engineering number as this will be exact to your vehicle however the part number would probably cross between certain vehicles for example an I pace hope this helps in the future ! Agree with Jason Clark3057. Really enjoyed watching you. 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 you are very very good. I specifically picked up on the point you made that even though fixing some of the larger jobs looked daunting, once you got stuck in it wasn’t so bad. But that is a sign of your passion and dedication! It’s great to see this. You’ve inspired me to do what I used to do in my teens (I’m 64 now teach Physics and love cars) I’ve noted all you’ve done and we’ve a Mercedes SLK sport and I think we’ll do a tribute to someone and make a video too. Only you and Mat have inspired me and my wife to do it! Thanks keep going live your content. Just watched the full 2hrs as I’m laid off work with a damaged back and today hasn’t been so painful watching you take the jag from disaster to showroom condition. I watched your trip to Monaco did you sell the car yet?
