I realized at 12 am, that I've already watched this build. Seeing it in it's entirety again (now 3 am) shows just how many hours of hard work goes into it. The rear wing fitting always cracks me up!

In Canada these cars were called the 240SX with a 2.4l I4. I had the a 200SX from the generation prior to this one. It was a white coupe with a KA20DE engine and with about 120hp. Even without a turbo, or a lot of power, it was a blast to drive. Probably the best handling car I have ever owned. I taught my girlfriend how to drive sideways in the snow in it. I could drive almost compleatly sideways and steer with just the throttle and one finger. Let up a bit and the rear end came into line as I unwound the stearing. Give a little bit more and the rear would swing out the opposite way and I could drive it completely sideways for as long as I had a straight road with only one finger on the wheel and just feathering the throttle. It made me feel like a driving god drifting through intersections like a pro. I remember entering off ramps at speeds that I could never do in any car since. Speeds that were much higher then the posted freeway speed limits. More than double the off ramps posted limit. It would just take a set and just hold it as long as you didn't let up. It would start to come around when you lifted but very controllable. I did have to have it almost straight in order to get on the brakes real hard to stop in time. I remember the day I took it into the dealer to trade for a 4 door Altima as I had my first child on the way. I so wish I had of kept it even if I had to store it for a bit until I got around to doing something with it. I don't see any on the road now.

M&M and MCM, I legit love this channel. I started watching in late 2011 or early 2012. Back on the driveway!!!! I think it was the electric turbo episode or leaf blowers episode that started me. Since then my MCM love has grown. I live in Edinburgh but I’m from Northern Ireland. Guys, you must do an Ireland/Scotland build and drive. Get Fry and Finnegan into it as well!! That would be epic. Circuit of Ireland/Scotland Rally style. Joey Dunlop, Bertie Fisher, Eddie Irvine, and Colin McCrea were my heroes, growing up. The bikers and rally guys had a huge following and there was a massive car scene in my home town during the 90s. MAX POWER magazine held events and every night people cruised around the town between car parks. Subs turned up to 11, cannon exhausts and K&N air filters, CEBE and HELLA spotlights, and AutoGlym everywhere. I got my license in 1997, and yet, I’ve never owned a car!! Now, I think I need one and will probably get something that is as boring as your dad’s nut sack, but I want to mod it - whatever it is! My not “crap car”.

This might be the best car you guys have built. Yeah its not the fastest, yeah its not the craziest, but man... there is just something about cars from this era that you just dont find much anymore. I remember watching the video 11 years ago where you guys were trying to find the smell in the civic build part 2 and where Marty takes the amp out and throws it into the front yard and you taped up your nose and found a pube on a toothbrush and I was hooked. Any country DMV, minus possibly Japan & Germany, it's always the person behind the counter. Be glad you don't live in Cali. Beautiful build. I'm still shocked the seats cost $20k US used. Every 240sx in the USA has been drifted, engine swapped & modded to death. IMO your engine is a little tired. I've done a 30k JDM red top swap decades ago. Did put a different turbo on it. Good for you reclaiming your youth. All you need is a pair of Oakley's & the tunes up. Well done. 👏

I remember in 2008 you could buy a running dual cam 5 speed S13 for literally $1,500 USD if not less. In 2011 I bought my 5 speed E36 328i for $2k (found style 19 bbs's at the junkyard for $50 a piece, put some megan coils on it and drifted the hell out of it until it blew up. In 2013, I bought my SC300 with 60k miles for $2,500 (probably the cleanest SC300 out there. It was basically showroom condition. Put coils and wheels on it and called it a day.. In 2016 I bought my 5 speed E30 for $1,500. It was a 88' which was the only year with the "stroker" motor. Although I profited on all them, the value of these now are insane. I would've kept every single one of them. It hurts to think that we took advantage of these gems and thrashed them in my teenage years... teenage me owned all my dream cars today.... *sigh*

EPIC progress Lee. You're smashing through this - I'm 8 yes into mine. A LOT to be said for getting it done 🤛🏻 Shame you're not up North anymore, I've got spare lollipops and front pads you could have had.

I like the job you’ve done on the car it’s really beautifully done. I have seen some really good skills done by a few Australian car enthusiasts while I was visiting.❤❤❤❤❤
