Hello and welcome to BOAB Models. This is the full build video of the Tyrrell Ford P34 'Six Wheeler' 1/20 scale kit from Tamiya. This was the version of the car released in 1990 and it is due to be released again later in 2022.
The Tyrrell P34 (Project 34), commonly known as the "six-wheeler", was a Formula One (F1) race car designed by Derek Gardner, Tyrrell's chief designer. The car used four specially manufactured 10-inch diameter (254 mm) wheels and tyres at the front, with two ordinary-sized wheels at the back. Along with the Brabham BT46B "fancar" developed in 1978, the six-wheeled Tyrrell was one of the most radical entries ever to succeed in F1 competition and has been called the most recognizable design in the history of world motorsports.

Thanks mate. You know, recently I've not been able to build as we just moved house and have a lot of work to do. I've felt a bit resentful at times but I've reminded myself that it will be alright in the end.

Wow! This came out really nice, lots of details too. Question, what do you use on the axles before you snap the wheels on? I really need to get one of these kits, really nice. Thanks for sharing, have a great day. -David

Thank you very much. Yes, it's dish soap which can help when the wheels are stiff. Also I find the F1 suspension delicate so anything which can help that is good.

@@BOABModels Cool tip, thanks. I agree, suspension parts on these seem pretty fragile sometimes. On some of mine, I just drill out the hole and then glue them in place. They don't turn but I'm not rolling them around on the floor anymore. ;^) Have a great weekend.

Fkkking annoys me is the 1/12 doesnt have the intake mesh and it costs shit loads. And I need tyre stencills .....annoying.
