I could never get rid of my old bullet journals! I go back to them for inspiration ALL THE TIME. Also there is something so satisfying about having a bunch of completed filled up notebooks on my shelf.

I love how raw and real you were in this flip through about your bujo slump. Last year, I "attempted" (key word attempted) to start a bullet journal and experienced a major slump after the first month. I still had a lot of passion, but I was overwhelmed with too many ideas and not enough time to try all of them. Your videos helped to start off 2021 with some more clarity, after spending all of 2020 researching different bullet journal methods. Thanks for being so open, as it allowed me to realize that a slump is a normal thing and I recconnected with bullet journaling, and now hope to keep it up consistently.

2020 was certainly my longest bujo slump, but I'm glad I've started 2021 with more of an appreciation for what works and doesn't work for me planning wise 😋 I'm so glad you found me sharing my half filled journal to he helpful, and awesome to hear you're getting back into it for 2021! 💜😄

2020 was bleh for so many of us, as was 2021.. ( and for me, the beginning of 2022, i lost my Dad in March and my little Dog Pebbles in May (she was 14) ) I have to say, your creativity has given new life to my outlook, finding my "JOY" again is a good feeling .. I am on my first Bujo, with thanks to you, creating Art again, and being more organized and kinder to myself. Your influence is greatly appreciated. Thanks Jess, love your work.

Fortunately, we’re all doing okay, thanks! 💜 I know that’s not the case for everyone. Unfortunately, we live in a country where Zapp Brannigan is in control of the bridge, masks are somehow a political statement instead of a basic safety precaution and a significant percentage of people are not currently in touch with reality, so we’re all doing okay specifically because we’re still staying inside and away from that madness. I’m also lucky to still be working (albeit from home) so I’m trying to get back to using my bujo again, in one capacity or another. If not for normal To Do lists and tasks, more for journaling and whatnot at least. If this is life for the foreseeable future, at least we can try to make it normal-ish. 😜

Absolutely loved this! Somehow missed your amazing February gaming spreads the first time round so very glad you did this! My hubby (who isn't a bujo person but a big gamer) was super impressed with them too. I also loved March - the dreamcatchers and mix of colours worked really well together

I think keeping the steps tracker the exact way that you always have it, like the way you did in April, was actually genius! Historically speaking you have evidence now that we were literally locked into our houses!

I feel that girl, I get SO motivated to do journaling and then a week or two later, I lose it again. I found that calendar and day of the week stamps help with the mundane and gives more time for stickers/art!

We're going into lockdown let's include a 10thousand steps tracker 🤣😂🤣 Was very relatable seeing you go through the slump. Just trying out anything to get yourself into your journal. Not only do I keep mine but I refer back to them regularly as I use as a project journal too. But even if I didn’t I would never get rid of them. All that effort and time? It would make me cry. Heck I even kept my planners from high school cuz memories lol.

When I had a traveler's notebook, I used to separate my collections! I put them in a different notebook entirely, and because I make all my own journals with printer paper and illustration board the guilt was never there.

I like that idea as a Month Log for a Memories log. I mean attempted bullet journaling saving my true first one for 2021. So my goal before I decide to make it is to look back on my 30 years of life as of 2021, and finish up older journals and Sketchbooks that didn't get finished with mind dumps and stuff about 2020. Now my 2021 journal does have a pocket for memories but I might keep 2021 Art in there. Because now I am digging your Monthly Memory Log thing, even if that was just a 2020 side effect for you. Also I am sick of Flowers Blooming in May, can we trade ? Then trade back in September. INTERNAL spring or fall...

Get rid of my old Bullet Journal!!??! Blasphemy! That’s like discarding my history! Loved this flip through. As a former teacher and administrator, I know how life can overtake. And though the point of the journal is to help us to manage the overwhelming times, too often a stack of stickies and scraps of paper took over! Stay safe.
