This announcer sounds crazy suggesting that someone who stole a truck, clipped another driver and broke about 100 traffic laws while fleeing from police could get out of jail tonight. In my opinion, that's enough to put someone away for a long time. The theft, the leaving a scene of an accident, the putting people in danger for 55 minutes due to their driving. I have no idea why chases don't add on every single thing. My kingdom for a case against someone that includes 55 charges of failing to signal a lane change and they are guilty on every single charge because it's all on video, then the go to all of the networks and say this is the new way we do police chases. See how often they still happen when you're guilty on 100 traffic violations in addition to the big charges. Heck, I'd charge them for the gas spent by the officers. Stop going easy on criminals, they don't deserve any compassion. What this person did was dangerous the entire time. They did it all, they are guilty.
