@@danphan3882 The police departments in California have to start going back to old fashioned police work. They need to start being more aggressive regardless of how many cars are on the road. When the minute the coast is clear they need to do pit maneuvers right away instead of dragging these on. The more of these police pursuits drag on the more innocent people will eventually be involved and get hurt. And then there's going to be lawsuits all over the place. The police departments in Southern California have to start going to a more aggressive approach there's no way around it it has to be done. These watch commanders need to start ending things right away. Do whatever it takes to stop the pursuit. They need to take lessons from Arkansas and Texas.

@@mikeelek9713 - I agree with that. Look at the very few pursuits that occur in Phoenix, Arizona. The police there use a lot of unmarked vehicles (I mean really unidentifiable as law enforcement) and will pit someone at ANY speed or block someone with their police units or by using a 'rolling-block' maneuver.There has been more than one incident where the driver was shot through the windshield and killed as he sat in the drivers seat after the car being pursued had crashed. Unlike in Los Angeles, Phoenix PD does not do hour long stand-offs or spend time negotiating surrender terms.

At Figueroa and the 110 freeway, he should have put a little fear space between him and the LAPD, go left at that light instead of right, go right again at the tile company into Hime Depot's parking lot. Go underneath all the overpasses, the I-5 and I-110 plus the 2 or three bridges over the LA River. Jump out and pick the homeless encampment you want to walk through. $20 and you'll get a tour guide where you won't get wet or dirty and most of all NOT caught!

These suspects need to be charged with every single traffic violation and given X amount of days in prison for each violation. No plea deals either. These suspects have plenty of time to rethink their terrible choices and make a responsible decision, yet most of the time they run until they crash or get caught. If more LE agencies start equipping their vehicles with Grappler Police Bumpers then these pursuits would stop. Stock Enterprises LLC (Leonard Stock) manufacturers the Grappler Police Bumpers however they are a small operation and can’t seem to scale fast enough even after 8 years of making them. Ideally if they would partner with a larger company or sell the IP to someone who can scale it faster you would see them being used in more agencies nationwide. About $6k-7k per unit and about $350 to replace the net. Much cheaper than vehicle damage from pursuits and PITs and lawsuits.
