Not the teacher I deserve, but the teacher I needed.

Cooooooooooooooooool. I now understand how my Antenna matching Unit works. Was scratching my head on how the parallel lumped component got to where we needed it. Admittance is the answer. Thankyou professor.👍👍

You are a darling teacher. This video has cleared the confusion I've had about why do we move up or down around the constant R or constant G circles. Thank you Ma'am!

Holy crap! I've been finding all over KZbin for impedance matching combo and found your video. You made it so simple. Thank you so much!!

Brilliant. Its a lot easier to understand then reading it from a book. Thanks for posting.

Ah, the Smith Chart, I remember still how a PhD Physicist taught us how to use it as a tool, when I took a 9 months course in Microwave Electronics way back here, year 1985, in Silicon Valley from a training center owned by Engineer Alan Scott. The Smith Chart is a great tool for practicality in the Real Word of 'microwaves'.

One thing to remember is when normalizing admittance, you divide by Yo (or multiply by Zo).

This is all done from the perspective of the load right? When you did the LC combo near the end, we added a series inductor first, then moved down with the parallel cap. But we could have added the parallel cap first, at the load, then inductor in series closer to the input right?

it looks like all teachers didn't get it ! I wish you explained more in details the values you got instead of just put them on the chart.
