Awesome stuff man, I been looking at those quarter inch impact sockets also, but like you said, don't think i would use very often, also 12point quarter drive sockets, capri has a nice set of shallow and deep quarter drive 12p chromes. I always think i want them but i never buy them because I'll never use them. Lol. Thanks for the video brother.

Yeah, if you can get them cheap it might be worth the swing. I want to say I scored the 1/4" impacts with a big Zoro discount, but might be remembering wrong. I've barely used either set, mainly because 3/8" is my default and I'm accustomed to running 1/2" at work. I want to say if you build it out (hex driver with a 1/4" adapter, or a 1/4" powered ratchet you might force yourself into them, but right now I still largely view them as a potential aid if the sidewall of a 3/8" drive size is too big to fit somewhere. It helped that this went up to 9/16" and 15mm. I almost think the 12 point chrome would be more of an asset without intentional use of the impacts, lol. Both make nice fillers imo.

Love the Ernst Socket Boss stuff and Ernst in general...but the stickers seem to fight us all. What I finally found that works is Mod Podge Matt Finish (2oz bottle) and tooth-picks. I put a dot of Mod Podge on the sticker back with a tooth pick, you want enough so that the glue kind of weeps from under the sticker a bit when you place it. Place the sticker and hold it down for a few moments so that the glue set s a bit and remove your finger. Go back with the toothpick and smooth out the sticker and try to cover all of the edges with Mod Podge (you may need to add a bit). It will look awful at this stage. BUT it dries clear so let it dry overnight and when you come back everything will look great. I did mine ~1.5yrs ago (?) and none of them have come up or come off. Also, probably want to do this in a heated area if it is cold out.

May try that out. My newest project has probably 2-3 per rail that constantly pop up. That is about the only downside to the system.

1/4" impacts? IDK. I've never needed them. OK Long Lag bolts might be useful, but for that I'll use 3/8" if I need impact. 4mm, I'm not using impact

I held out a long time...I just ultimately pulled the trigger for two reasons. First, it was a killer deal. Second, in the event my default 3/8" has too big of a profile, I can downgrade to these and won't have to worry about the chrome slicing me. Even cheap little hex drivers run with adapters are putting out a lot of power and speed. I've barely used them, but also kind of predicted that, haha.
