In awe of your tool collection. As an old man, I should have more/better tools, but mine were stolen when I was young. Twice. Granpa's tools. Broke my heart. And the organization of your tools is great. It's funny, but seeing this huge array of tools reminds me of my first visit to Costco over 30 years ago. The shelves stacked to the ceiling, all that selection, just the enormity of it all. Nearly went comatose with all the choices we had.

Great video, I wish I would have had a notepad when I started this video. I'm going to have to watch it again and take some notes. What peaked my interest is the side comments about a tool, a set of tools, a brand, a tool function and even brand commentary. Thank you sir for your very informative and educational videos. You and your videos have saved me thousands of dollars in repairs between my '15 Forester XT and my '19 WRX. Thank you again.

Seriously nice box layout. I have the 72" with sides plus my two carts. A month or so ago i got into a discussion with a college degree person about cost of our education and tools to do our respective jobs. I went to MCI (work paid) and was state certified in 85 then ASE certified in 87. He had a four year degree from a state school in 02. The dig from him was what it cost me in tools to perform my job. After a hour or so of back and forth i asked him what he could sell his college degree for? What do you mean sell? Well all of my tools and boxes are quality American made (95%) tools and are worth at least 75% of what i paid for them, many are probably 90% value. We both have around the same amount invested but i can sell mine and get most of it back. How much can you sell your degree for? I am semi retired now meaning I only work on jobs that i choose to do. Unfortunately like most who just love tools continue to buy them. Knowing i dont actually need them but it is a addiction. Thanks for the review of the boxes, very impressive brother.
@wendymontie56607 ай бұрын
Absolutely agree! I, while a degree holder, SHOULD have defied my mom and gone to work with my father’s family machine shop - was JUST saying a variant of this to my non-degreed, but experienced avionics engineer husband that trades are NECESSARY for a functional society, degree holding office execs are not.

The addiction is real but at least it won't ruin our lives and like you said we can get 70 to 75% of that back

I don't know how deep drawer option you have and it is a cheap idea but northern tools sells a cheap set of pliers, but it looks like the wire pliers rack is a decent fairly low profile design so maybe something like that would help you organize your pliers drawer
