Watching these vlogs makes me wish I had had more opportunities to travel outside the US than I have. Aside from Canada, I’ve only been outside the US once, to Europe 50 years ago (we went to what was then six different different countries). I’m not sure how well I would deal with the heat in a number of Asian countries, but it is fascinating to see the different cultures of countries such as the Philippines and Thailand.

Miss the Philippines, but the traffic… it’s just on another level that I’m not used to. I went at the worse time and the best time: February. We hit Chinese new year, a Muslim holiday and valentines. I swear the majority of my vacation was spent in a van.
