A guy who listens to Ella Fitzgerald, and thinks early morning coffee is a near spiritual experience? Finally a BPN athlete I can relate to 😄

Absolutely enjoy this! Love it when Joe says “to go fast, go alone. To go far, together” and how he doesnt rlly have a community in his area, so sometimes he has to go alone! Totally feel the same way! Hoping i find my community one day 🤲🏻

I empathize with his situation he was describing after he finished the workout. I’ve been solo running since June and it’s been a crazy feeling…but I’ve also never been more confident in my running capabilities than I am right now. Recently finished my first road 10k in 33:23. Have another one in 10 days

What a beautiful piece. I can relate so much because I find running when I was 19. I got out of school and worked an engineering job for a few years, and picked up a camera and have been working to make this thing a career. I came back to running in 2019/2020 and have run 6 or so marathons and I'm finally in the same shape I was when I was 20 (I'll be 29 in a week), and I've been in the same boat with the last 3 marathon PR attempts. I've hit the wall so hard every time. I'm 30 seconds faster than this spring, and I'm so ready to send it, and I have no doubt everything has been dialed this prep, and I have no doubt I'm going to run the whole Marathon all the way through without hitting the wall.

Great video. Last time I ran was in the service after high school and I always hated every moment of it. I just got into photography a few years ago pretty deep. Started running again at the start of this summer and fell in love with it. Not anywhere near trying to break a 2:30 marathon but my goal is to complete a marathon.

As a photographer as well, I feel that Joe and I have a lot in common. Especially since he lacks a community at the moment. I recently moved from Texas to Oregon so I feel the same way. I have never really been much of a runner, more of a weight training background. But 31 days ago I made the decision to train for my first marathon. That marathon is in 9 days. I just want to finish. Good luck joe
