@@strongestnattyever-videos2247 I've come across these type of comments multiple times in the past, even when i was not an athlete myself. Well after countless training sessions, many hours of personal research, proper nutrition planning, networking with other athletes and coaches it turns out it is possible to look and perform like these lads. Oh, and i forgot to add something else in the equation above.. You should absolutely love and be passionate with whatever it is your are giving time and energy towards. Peace.

I have gotten a late start on training, I am 56. I have always just put enough effort into training to look and feel okay, never optimal. I started hybrid training 7 months ago, a full dedication to weight training, running and good nutrition. I have actually gained 4 pounds of muscle and have leaned out. I am 6'2'" and now 179. BPN athletes and Nick are so motivating and feel with all the misinformation out there they speak to what I need to hear. I manage my work-out schedule working out 5-6 days a week having a full-time job and 3 kids. Anything is possible if you really want it. My running started at 1-2-mile walk/runs and now i am up to 8-mile runs. I have hit PR's in the gym, pushing more weight than in my 20's. Go one more...

This for me is easier to follow but i want to know if it’s optimal for recovery and would like to hear some feedback from the community. Any advice helps thanks! Monday: Legs/Run 3K Tuesday: Push Wednesday: Pull/Run 3K Thursday: Rest/Run 5k Friday: Lower Saturday: Upper Sunday: Rest/Run5k
@ARAMZ107 ай бұрын
I would suggest identifying your primary fitness goal first. Ie: is it gaining more strength or improving your running capabilities As it’s going to be incredibly difficult to do both at the same time nearly impossible Your split looks achievable however lifting weights 5 days a week & running 10 miles a week is a lot to maintain especially if you don’t take any rest days at all for a new hybrid athlete I would suggest 3 - 3 mile ez runs & 3 resistance training sessions 1 day active recovery to start Then you can add in more lifts or runs to reflect your goals
@moistprune99947 ай бұрын
@ARAMZ10 I worked 65 hours last week. Ran 13.5 miles, at 9k elevation, etc. And worked out 4 days. I don't think by any means that he is trying to do to much.. its just potentially to much at first. But even then.. I'm only 8 months into my fitness journey. But 3 years into my diet journey. I eat the right fuel and alot of it.
@ARAMZ107 ай бұрын
@@moistprune9994that’s exactly what I’m saying- I don’t know his lifestyle or his fitness level- that’s why Im suggesting start with less training volume and work your way up as apposed to starting with more and burning out and quitting
