Watching you and others do DD3 was way more brutal than it actually was to play it myself. I didn't do the restarting 20 and 30 times for the first 8 nodes, I just went in with Phoenix, did her special, paid 50 cores, went in and did it again. Was past the first 8 nodes before I knew it. I was able to 1 shot the first 3 nodes of Cosmic, and now I'm pushing my way through the last cosmic node. I'm in no rush because I only just got SSM to G14 and no other City toons to take in.

Great guide. I just started node 6. Node 5 kicked my butt. I let 2 Sinisters and 2 Stryfes on the field and I almost had to reset the node. I had to send in solo pheonix 5 times to take the sinisters out. If I put in a whole team they would almost full heal. I have Pheonix Colossus Sinister and Shuri. Took me 17 attacks to clear node 5.

You tap the node with hela (who has greg) and try and get a good sequence where the enemies use key abilities on greg. Then heal hela and go in with the full team

I just beat damn node 3 and not having 2 MMs is impossible.Maybe on my timed run it ll be possible if I have toons that survive, but considering I only used single target on MMs and later BPs, I ha dtwice double MM drop together.Tip:Hela/Greg help here to block their heals ;)

Even though I watched the videos, and knew to avoid it, I got 2 Iron Fists on node 7. It sucked. Yelled "you die now!" when one finally went down. My advice: Be careful about using Phoenix when the first Iron Fist is on the board. She might kill everyone else, leaving IF to welcome his twin when the next wave drops. Just do Phoenix basics.

Having major problems with the iron fist node. No matter what I do, I can't stop killing other toons and iron fist keeps healing back to full. Any help would be great. Second one is about to drop

i m blocked at phoenix node with 2 iron fist...

Use only Phoenix for 8-10 attacks you will see the difference, you will be able to take out JJ and it will leave you daredevil, 2 IFs, Luke cage, this is the time to take out one iron fist or else you will be in for a long time. Hope this helps

Why is nobody telling people that clearing node 7 with just Phoenix and Colossus is impossible?

2 Iron fists: It actually isn't as bad is it could be. It is not great mind you, but workable. It happened to me. The up side is that toons spawn in waves corresponding to their original waves, so the first IF spawns and heals, and then the SECOND one spawns after that and heals, so you can focus the second one relatively easily since he only gets a single spawn heal.

I still don’t get the merc lieutenant over riot guard. Riot guard should protect the others until he dies and then he’ll be better on war defense

Speed is king in DD3. With Lt, you get speed up and offense up very early in a match. Even if Lt dies early, his first round of buffs can really get your Symbiotes rolling, and they are your main workhorses in City.
