Beefers, the reason sometimes you got stuck is because of the hazard closes a lot of way to juked the ravagers. And if you buy the Stability card it can help you with unclosed path to escape 💚

Yes but no... Clank Block blocks Clank, aka Shriekers. Hazard Block blocks Hazard, aka closing off doorways. Also the ravagers naturally funneling themselves into the starting tunnels is rotten luck, they have so much area to explore and yet concentrated themselves right there making it impossible to pass

Beef, Tango is in the process of fine tuning the game. The last run of yours, you were clearly trapped with no way forward. The far right hazard door had shut and you had 3 ravagers surrounding you. You just started to build up your deck. There should always be a way thru. When there are 3 ravagers camped at the entrance pretty sure Tango's been refunding shards. He is the official Ravager declumper as needed. 😊You're doing great. We like all of the DO 2 content. TY so much!

Yeah with more experience some people have learned to pull them out at the start of the run, but it takes awhile to think of that.

Loving the Decked Out runs. I'm as obsessed as the hermits are. So enjoying you playing Tango's game. ~.^ And... not to tell you how to play or anything, but do consider getting some hazard blockage into your deck. Maybe a lot. It will keep the doors and other traps from making you miserable towards the end of your run... at least, by some percentage. The early runs you got cornered by ravagers would have prolly been fine if the hazard doors had been open at the end.

As great as DO2 is, the entrance to the dungeon is too linear. There is just two parallel paths, and when hazard increases this becomes only one long path, then you just have to be lucky about the position of the ravagers. I would like there to be more skill involved in exiting the dungeon. That it could already happen at the beginning of the run is a flaw imo, because if you have a full deck with hazard blocking cards, they still won't necessarily play immediately...

Yes, I personally would have done a different entrance/exit myself... not to compare myself with the dungeon master lol. I expect either choice you made there would have it's own set of difficulties. There's no way I could match Tango's game-building instincts. But that one small thing, I would have done differently.@@willemDiscool

Oh, now I get it! Clank is the penalty for sprinting, and hazard is the penalty for sneaking. Not only are they both ticking clocks, but they force a trade-off in speed of movement.

In your last run you made two critical mistakes: you aren’t peeking corners, and you retreated back to spawn. You don’t need to have full visibility of the ravager, but they need something like 3/4 visibility to aggro on you. Peek corners to spot them without drawing aggro. Secondly, you should do your darndest to never draw a ravager closer to spawn. Even if it allows you to get past, you shouldn’t do it because it means the ravager will be in those narrow tunnels on your return. Hazard will nearly always be maxed when you come out, which means you have only a single path to go, and nowhere to juke ravagers. However, if you do draw ravagers into spawn, you can get away with it if you **also** draw it out of the spawn afterward. You must keep the tunnels clear of ravagers so you can actually get our. Never leave them in there.

Actually, it wasn’t stress. Beef didn’t have an artifact and the ravagers had cornered him at the start of the dungeon. He wouldn’t get anything if he left. That really was just a rotten run, but some runs are just like that.

HCS9 has been AWESOME for games. TCG, Decked Out, Total Chaos, The charity stream...Ren an Ethos upcoming speedway...it's been great. I started following mumbo in season 8 and since... I've gone back as far as season 7 I followed grian, iskall, you, impulse, pearl(my fav now sorry 🤣) Ren, karalis.... You guys have me completely hooked. Even JITS phasmo. I've noticed a few times, I dont know if beef is looking at his whole screen but it often looks like he's focusing on a precise part of his screen and not seeing the rest of the screen. That can happen sometimes maybe if you have a really large monitor or maybe he's just really super focused on something but for example, he kept traversing the water area with dripstone when the Ravager was on the other side walking towards him, he only noticed the ravager once he was done crossing the water and the ravager was RIGHT there like 6 blocks in front of him LOL.... wouldve had plenty of time to run away if only he had looked slightly higher on his screen LOL very fun watching these Decked Out runs haha
