Now I understand why my LG I bought in Mexico has English and Spanish on the Knobs. I thought "nobody in USA, Canada or England would use a simple machine like this" But India is more like Mexico. Mine is 16 KG size and cost $350 in USA dollar. Same price as top loading automatic, but I bought it to save water and avoid electronic circuits that fail. I am a little bit surprised at how low the quality is for design of the machine. We will see if it lasts.

Thanks for the review, but keep in mind never turn the washer timer or spinning timer in anticlock wise direction (only clockwise). They are mechanical timer, it has plastic gears inside.

Are you sure? Have you looked inside a timer or is this a guess ? So there is no way to turn it off or change the setting backwards? Because it won't go all the way around like some. I would think that the gearing has some pressure release for that.
