Omg Steve. I stumbled on this video today. Had me tearing up with joy. Used to visit as a little girl around 28 years ago with my nanna and nannu. Hasn't changed one bit. Sooo glad you posted this as it rekindled so many many memories. I used to go there weekly 😃😃😃

My goodness Steve, what a video.... I'm in tears with memories from La Vallette Club. I grew up going there a lot with my father and we used to go upstairs too. It hasn't changed at all. Such a beautiful building. My mother's uncle practically lived there. He was a member . He died in his nineties..... That was awesome to watch. Memories are flooding in. Thanks Steve. Ah memories, have eaten in there many times befor it was redecorated, was always reasonable prices, good for mid day meal/snack, not been in there for a while, will try again next time. Your breakfast looked good ,hope you enjoyed. Thanks Steve. 😋

Funny, that was our seccond location on our Malta holidays. One time St. Julians was enough. Hotel San Bernard, directly at the party stairs. In Xemxija we´ve been two times at the Porto Azzurro and after that only Bugibba Qwara, the Bus Terminal there is great to start into all directions to explore the island.

And with black pudding and mushrooms, you don't see black pudding much in Malta these days especially in summer, a number of local butcher's used to make their own including on in Hamrun and our local butcher's in Siggiewi, Maltese black pudding is very good as is traditional Maltese bacon, and the sausages are legendary.

No Kristina, it's never been expensive in there, you get pretty decent food and drinks at very reasonable prices, as you can tell they're a decent bunch in there, they're always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, you asked why it was empty, well usually in the afternoons a lot of the older members are in there playing snooker and cards, with a few diners dotted around at the tables, maybe this was just a one off, ot it could be to do with the current situation, or maybe even the heat at the moment, but rest assured it's always been a good place to visit.🙂

I think those are the new Dewfresh Cumberland sausages. I tried them and they taste almost the same as the normal pork sausages. Bit of a let down.

What ever you buy frozen is never the same as fresh Cumberland sausage...but you suprise me i always thought there were herbs in Cumberland sausage???
