A couple of years will pass before you realize that you are in the same place where you started, only older. Going to work six day's in a week just to pay for rent, monthly payment for rusty toyota vitz, and to provide food for you and your family. I strongly recommend Malta as a place for a holiday, but not for living.

I know it, I can compare, Because I lived in Malta, Russia, USA, Canada, UK, Ireland and Morocco. This Maltese lady underestimate me. Malta is 3rd world country end of story I have been around for decades. I know the difference and I can see it.. these liberals can’t

@@MarisOzolins-ho4nj It seems to me that lady is not even Maltese, she text this somewhere from England, or if she lives in Malta then she earns way above average money... I also live here for a long time now, and feel almost like a Maltese, I even can understand the local's, so that someone don’t think that I’m a hater. And it is not easy to just leave, as some may think, over time a person loses connection with a previous life, and it becomes harder to start a new life as getting older. First, check with the land registry as to who is the legal title holder of the property is, not the builder, the legal title owner, then if it's not the owner, start a law suit, the person who charging rent has no right, and you can demand 95% of the past rent back. I used to be the legal title holder of the Busuttil Family Estate in Malta until December 1978.l sorry your having a hard time , but you're being ripped off.😢

You should have done your research..I am from Toronto..let me tell you Living in Canada is very expensive..we have homeless people, the food banks is the highest it's ever been, rent is out of control..so this is happening in Canada also..go back to Calgary and freeze your butt.I am Maltese native..so please don't disrespect Malta..you are complaining about few days or rain, compared to mountains of snow..please..

@@catherinebonnici5572 I done tons of research. I am from the north born and raised. I lived all my life in Canada. Malta is not for me, the dirtiest place I have ever been to, the lowest income in the EU And yes Toronto comparing to Calgary is a crap hole full of homeless and dangerous place to be. Super expensive. Calgary is the cleanest city in the world and yes there is a few homeless But they don’t bother me. Calgary pays very well and less taxes compared to Toronto. Come back to Malta if you don’t like cold and snow. I like snow and cold, This heat and garbage and €10/h job not for me. I don’t have enough money for rent. Birkirkara rent for 3 bed apartment €1300 In Calgary I had $42/h when working full time job as plumber and gas fitter. Malta don’t need and don’t appreciate educated and experienced guys, they are looking for cheap labour from India, I will tell you that. Malta cost me a lot more than Calgary. So don’t tell me how expensive is in Calgary if you have not lived in Calgary.

@@claudiathomas2487 ohh wow, I done a lot of research and lived in Malta for 1 year. I can see how dirty and undeveloped this place is. How much dirt and garbage on the streets. One of the dirtiest places I have ever been in my life. -Drivers don’t stop for pedestrians, very rude -Takes for ever to open up bank account -People from 3rd world countries can’t speak a single word in English (you don’t do English test before you let these individuals in) -lowest income in EU and that’s a fact and statistics -government dumps sewer in meditareian sea (why Balluta bay on regular bases closed for swimming?) -power shortages in summer time -bar tenders make €5/h and not polite and nice -qualified plumbers and gas fitters like myself can’t get more than €10/h ( I have “red seal” 24 years experience) -the quality of homes, the finishing is not near Canadian standards, everything looks and is cheap -rent is overpriced, I pay €1300 per month for 3 bed apartment and making €10/h -family of four like I have, grocery bill is about €800..€1000 per month -a lot of old cars and that tells you that people can’t afford new cars -the standard of living is as low as you can get In EU countries - a lot of illegal immigrants from Africa and India -infrastructure is a jock, look at the roads and side walks -Malta is 3rd world country and that’s why I am leaving and will never come back The biggest issue I have is all this garbage, these people are pigs. Plus construction sites.. people taking shit and piss all over the place, even though there is portable toilets provided. What is wrong with you.. yeah ask parliament like you said..
