Alexandra Sterling I learned this early on. When I was in school the well off ones, dressed like bums and drove a very basic car. There was nothing about them that was bling. The poor ones are generally the best dressed, with a fancy car. I remember going with my boyfriend to visit his friend that lived in an apartment and drove a Lexus. That was not the worse part. This fool did not have anything for us to sit on. Dont be fooled by the bling. By his outwardly appearance, you would have thought he was living large.

Anything that starts with a lie will end with a lie. Anyone who lies about small stuff will lie about more important significant stuff. He misrepresented himself to woo her. If your don’t have respect and trust in a relationship you have nothing! This cannot be fixed when the person your dealing with remains in denial about their behavior and doesn’t think they have to change. She should have left him immediately when she found out he lied about all those things he lied about! Also he was living beyond his means to impress her. Spending money he doesn’t have on expensive dinners, expensive gifts and expressive rental cars. He’s over 30 and should have a full time job period. He’s a bum for doing just enough to get by instead of being motivated to get a better paying job.

“Never be blind to who you’re dealing with.” 🙏🏾 Amen!!!!!!!!!! Judge Toler always hits the nail right on the head. It always baffles me when either person has no shame in living off of the other like a sponge. If you both agreed to have one be the primary breadwinner or the only one working, then that’s a completely different circumstance. However, if you allegedly have the money to wine, dine and pamper me in the beginning and then have the nerve to live off of my hard earned dollars later on, you need to get the stepping. I need my fellow women to stop acting like y’all are totally in love after only 3 months. Like..........no ma’am. The judge was right, her mother was right, her auntie was probably right, her best friend from elementary was probably right: why are you with a whole bum sis? You are 23 doing things for a grown man that an extra grown woman wouldn’t even waste her time with (a secure in her self, position, power and life grown woman that is). Rant over

At first glance, you might think she’s a gold digger. I think she honestly wanted a fairytale, “look at what I got! A man who treats me well, he takes me out, I get flowers and candles and it’s all very romantic”. That’s what she saw, she didn’t leave cuz she probably felt that things would get better and she would look bad. He used all those things to get a naive 21 year old who honestly wanted the good life, then he ended up using her for the basic things. Him equating what he did to her wearing weave shows how mentally limited he is. “Sure, I lied bout my age, my job, my accommodation, my financial stability but you’re lying bout your hair! It’s basically the same thing” 😒
