Thrive has brow and lash products that come close to that prescription lash growing formula(Julia uses their mascara on the lower lashes occasionally-mint green pkg). My sister tried it out and was happy with the results. Caveat: we are brunettes, so it may darken the skin where applied, so be precise. All my strength to you during your treatments. It's hard to pick a favourite thing about your channel but I think it might be how you describe things. I smell something and think, "what does that remind me of?" But you say "it smells like walking past a man that's been working in a pine forest and is taking a cigarette break". In today's video it was the "airplane toilet". So much more specific than just "a toilet". Love it. The skin tint and blush looked amazing on you. That's as far as I've gotten so far.

I love my On the Horizon, can't wait to hear your full thoughts at roundup! Also, I feel like Smashbox had an undereye primer for years, I wonder how Milk compares. Plus I feel like I remember Wayne Goss giving a tip about using eyeshadow primer as an undereye primer years and years ago, so I'm curious if the Milk doing it is just a marketing extra or if it works as well as other eye primers (of certain textures at least).

Well the magnetic eyelashes solve one problem for me but create a different one. I have only tried once in my life to put on false lashes and it just wasn't worth the trouble. So a magnetic pair sounds great! But I suck at applying liquid eyeliner so there's that. I kind of wish the eyeliner came in both black and clear so those who have trouble like me would have a choice. I just love your eye look. Gorgeous!!!!

Can't remember who I was watching using the Milk eye primer (maybe Allie Glines), but she said that it creases with nothing on top but once shadows are applied stays in place well

Beautiful green eye look! I did a similar look with the Temptalia Horizon eye shadow palette and really liked it.I have a couple pairs of magnetic lashes and I can't get them to stick. Maybe I need to check out the Velour brand magnetic lashes. Your skin/blush looks flawless.

I have this same palette and love it! Had to stop myself from buying the trio only because I have so many palettes already. It was my first SG palette as well. The formula is great! Not to mention that those are my favourite colours in the bunch - Desert Spoon and Earthbound.

You look great, I never gravitate towards green shadows, but you normalized wearing the color. I love the lashes, I love magnetic lashes and I’ve been flying down the highway, (late to class, lol) and they definitely stick, they are secure. It’s just a lightweight feeling you have to get used to. I liked your base, I know it’s your face, so you would know, but I thought the highlighter was gorgeous after you took it down a bit. We have the same preference for highlights so I definitely get it, and after you worked it in, it looked great. So, thanks for the video, catch you in the next one!

Hi Julia! My skin does not play well with vitamin C either! A bummer because it has so many benefits. I use retinol (Inkey List) & niaminicide (Good Molecules) to combat fine lines & dullness. I'd be curious what other products you use to take the place of a vit C product. TIA!

Before you even said it I thought that blush looked like a toilet 😂😂😂. Sydney Grace has a fantastic eyeshadow formulation, just as good as Natasha Denona in my opinion. I’ve not tried that particular palette but I own 2 other palettes and some singles from Sydney Grace and they are amazing. I would suggest trying it with a different primer. I’ve not heard good things about that Milk primer. You look beautiful as always 😊.

The milk primer - I've seen a few people using regular eye primer under the eye to help with concealer so I imagine they just jumped on that to use it as a double use. I don't think it's specifically formulated any differently from primer if that makes sense! X

I'm trying to find my shade in the new YSL tint I use to have the old one back in the day I'm so confused by the colors they have idk now what to pick I med a tan it's summer their is know neutral shades they are all warm pink or peach ? Did u ever buy a summer shade for the new YSL tint cause I'm confused what to buy. I have been using the Rose inc serum in O3O but it's way to light now so I may just get number 5 or 6 for summer or the Givanchy glow in 4 or 5 neural atleast I know I like them and I know the shades to get. I just wanted to try the new YSL but I really like the old tint and the eye brightener and concealer.

You will be surprised to know that Chicago is called 'windy city' because the of the actual wind but also polticians are 'full of hot air' ' pompous windbags and otherwise corrupt. I am a chicagoan and didn't know that for a super long time. Logically it makes sense because the lake wind gusts, polar vortexes and the wind moving through tall buildings but the gov thing makes sense too. Also lol your cat matches the decor.

Maybe you should use a foundation with spf, although I wouldn't take the risk. I would prefer to use it in treatment serums or cleansers.

Sounds right but anything she put on is on top of her skincare. So I guess that would include sunscreen and then if you put a primer on top of it that contains salicylic acid you would still be protected from the sun.

I would go with a salicylic face wash or a good salicylic toner underneath your sunscreen and non-SA primer during the day instead. It will make sure your actives will be put to use without making things too finnicky with the other elements in your makeup routine. A couple of other things to consider: - You probably don't need to use salicylic acid treatments daily if you're not too oily. If you do, remember to pair it with other hydrating skincare to offset any potential dryness that may occur. - You can still use a salicylic primer if you're not going out in the sunlight, like if you're going out to dinner or a nighttime event. I don't often recommend using tinted sunscreen because people need to use more of it than than they need to even out their face, but if you are using one up then that's ok to do too. 🙂
