I just bought the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder today and I am in love with it! I watched this video last night and she basically talked me into it. My favorite brow routine is to go in with a lot of the essence make me brow gel & then fill in the sparse areas with the Nyx micro brow pencil. I find that doing it this way helps me not add too much of the pencil, which can look unnatural in excess.

I also got two different shades of shape tape. One being too dark (on accident ) and one being too light (on accident) but them mixed together is perfect for me. (Also on accident)

You're the only person, besides myself, that's ever had the experience with "the less on skin the better". Everyone thinks I'm NUTS! But my skin is always so much better with a light wash and a random good exfoliating. Other than that...anything else causes break outs and texture. Keep on girl! You're awesome! ❤️

RawBeautyKristi I don't want to be a downer but caffeine is highly addictive. If you're not feeling good or in a bad mood and just the smell of coffee makes you perk up-that's a good indicator that your intake is too high. Please be careful. Physical withdrawals-irritability, shakiness, headaches, mood swings, fatigue, nausea-are felt if the caffeine has diminished in your system.

I'm so confused about the Laura mercier setting powder. I got some and I do what everyone else does but my skin is so dry it makes me look super flaky and powdery when I use it. I must be a fool that just can't figure this makeup out.

Camillelang I have that issue with Mercier, La Mer, RMS, Coty, all of them really. Highlight helps to bring a natural glow back and Cover FX Illuminating Spray. Just dab very lightly with a wet beauty sponge on the few dots that show from the spray and voila!

Camillelang try using it with a damp beauty blender. That's my favorite way to use it. You may like the RCMA No Color powder much more.

Camillelang makeup is so personal and literally can be so different for everybody. I prefer the Cover fx powder over Laura mercier ... works better for me. I'm normal to dry.

Cover FX perfect loose setting powder (not the one labeled 'matte') is INCREDIBLE on my dry skin. Never makes me look dry/flaky and it doesn't make me look flat! I would highly recommend it, if you didn't already realize. :)

Camillelang I also second the Cover FX powder (or third it)! I like it better than the Laura Mercier. It just seems less visible to me

I saw that No. 7 loose powder!! I've been super curious about their foundation, among other products - would you do an entire face or something of No. 7 products? Those are few and far between and, you're my bitch so your opinion matters a bit more than others! 🌹🌹
