I love the straightforward nature of your vids... no messing about. Just a (beautiful) woman and her makeup. So how are you liking the new studio fix formula? It's my very favorite foundation these days - soft matte, blurring, and long-wearing, yet still somehow hydrating.

@@Juleslynnbeauty I had a terrible time matching my shade in this foundation, which seems to be an ongoing issue with MAC. They have 67 (!) shades, and I still couldn't find mine. I had to add an adjuster pigment. 🙄 I only put up with it because I love the formula SO much!

@@Juleslynnbeauty So I buy from TBK trading... in this case "kelly green" concentrate, which is essentially pure chromium oxide green mixed with glycerin (so it disperses properly). Having light skin with olive/yellow undertones is a nightmare when it comes to complexion products. They also have red, yellow, white, blue, black, etc., depending on your needs. Just make sure you only buy "cosmetic grade." I also avoid synthetic dyes, as I prefer natural mineral pigments. 👍

If you think NC colors are too yellow, try the C4 shade in Studio Radiance. I have a light olive complexion, but in winter the beige in my skin really becomes evident. C4 is a much better match for me now. In the summer I can use my NC 20 or 25.

MAC does not work like most other companies regarding color coding. NC stands for Neutral Cool, which is made for warm, yellow-ish skin tones. NW stands for Neutral Warm, which is for cool, pink undertones.

The lip glass is nice because it’s on the thicker side so it’s a bit longer lasting but it’s not overly sticky! Love that it’s clear so it can go right over a lip pencil, lipstick or worn alone!

I like the foundation, but it’s not my favorite! I need to play around with it more. It wears very nicely lasted me all day. I want to try the radiance one because I have drier skin. The only thing is the shades are slightly yellow so it was hard to find a perfect shade match. I might have to combine two different ones!

So a viewer just told me that NC is neutral cool but is opposite for MAC. Meaning NC is warm and NW is cool

Thanks! Learned that after the fact. I feel like MAC runs on the warmer side for foundation/concealer, similar to NARS. For years I was using the wrong NARS shade and finally figured out my shade like a year ago lol

All the OG lipstick shades are gone the new formula is different the shades are different 😢
