I feel I'm turning back to the tried and true lately. I still enjoy MAC lightscapede as a highlighter, Benefit Hoola light, Hourglass blushes, Natascha or Huda eyeshadow, Charlotte's settingspray and lipsticks.

I think a video on current and emerging makeup trends that you are interested in and are not interested in might be fun to watch.

I also love my ND mini Biba palette, but the top cracked off at the hinges and that is strangely a deterrent in my reaching for a product. Maybe I should buy a new one. One of my absolute favorites products from way back is the Mac mineralized skin finish pressed powder. I also have loved the Mac gigablack mascara for my bottom lashes for a long time. A recent favorite foundation is the Haus triclone. SO good on my dry skin!

The only powder that compares and does not look like powder on my 50 year old dry skin (and is maybe even better than the old givenchy) is the under eye pressed powder from Pat McGrath. All others tend to look dry, if not immediately, then after a couple of hours. The problem is that is very small. I would prefer a loose powder but Pat McGrath loose powder is not the same. I use powder to set and blur acne scars, the oil absorption only matters to me 1 month per year in the pick of summer.
