The wet n wild situation is so frustrating. Especially their oversimplified statement. I JUST bought two backups of their cushion foundation and, since I already bought them in gonna use them up, but I'm not buying from them again. Super disappointing. For drugstores foundations though I love the physicians formula healthy foundation for light coverage

Flower Beauty Light Illusion is my favorite drugstore foundation. The lightest shade at Ulta is L1 but! You can get an even lighter shade L0 at Walmart! I just purchased Riviera as my first ABH palette. Wish I had gotten Sultry. That highlight looks awesome on you!

Norvina is my favorite ABH palette I own! I have Soft Glam, Norvina, and Sultry. I think it’s the perfect way to have a little pop of color that is still work appropriate. I would totally recommend it!

I LOVE the Physicians Formula Healthy Foundation 😍!!! It does have a weird smell at first, but it goes away as soon as you put it on (thank goodness)! But it’s so worth it!!

I know this is a late post, I just want to say I highly recommend norvina BECAUSE it’s such a nice neutral and versatile palette. I can create purple, pinks, cool and warm neutral looks. The palettes compliments all the other palettes in my collection. Probably my most used palette of 2018.

BECCA Aqua Luminous has been what I’ve really been grabbing for as of late. It’s perfect everyday light coverage. I also love using the NUDESTIX Nudies Blur Stick and spot concealing for a super light look

I have Subculture, Modern Ren, & Norvina and I love them. I love the neutrals, pinks, and purples in Norvina and it makes a great complementary palette if you want to do a purple look with singles or another palette.

Devastated by the WnW news. I would have been disappointed if they pulled a Nars and told us before but this? Lying for an extended period of time 😑 not happy. Sad because I use them daily. Guess I have a new project pan. Glad Elf has been expanding their shade range so I can switch to them for face products. I need to try spraying my brush before with Sultry. Normally, I do it after. I started using my finger, which I hate, but it prevented fall out. They just didn’t want to work with my brushes. I found a sponge applicator works too. But I’ll try something new cause I’d rather use a brush.

If I remember right, thattayla likes to use that color Bert’s Bees blush (the cinnamon one) as crease color for eyeshadow. Love the sultry palette! I sat on it for a while going back and forth and then bam it went on sale a while back for I think $27 on Ulta and Sephora. You better believe I made my husband stop at ulta that morning while we were running errands and got the last one they had in stock that Tuesday morning at like 11 AM. I was so excited. I feel like those who have it and don’t like it, feel like it’s not diverse enough is a comment I hear a lot, haven’t spent some time in it. I feel like I can create some really interesting looks none of my other palettes can create, but I don’t have like 100+ palettes like some of the youtubers I watch. I have like 20. Partly because I have boxycharm for a bit and they like to send palettes.

My fave foundation is the BareMinerals Rescue Gel, but for drugstore, I love ELF's Beautifully Bare Foundation Serum. Not a lot of shades but each shade works for multiple skin tones. I'm fond of lighter, more sheer coverage, but each of these can build a little bit when needed.

I like the CYO foundation and you should try it since it's only $7. Do you have any tips on getting rid of a foundation? I currently have 1 BB Crème(not cruelty free and the only exemption for bb creams/foundation) & 2 Foundations(1 is the CYO foundation and the other is the Fresh Wear Foundation) I love both foundations but i'm trying to have as much cruelty free makeup as possible..and I love how it looks on me but I honestly don't need 3 face products...

I have the Norvina palette, it was actually my first ABH palette. I like it a lot, but I don't feel like I use it enough because I am never sure what looks to create. Since I have bought the Soft Glam palette, I use that regularly.

The stila shadow probably isn't dried up. The pigment settles. If you mix it up (maybe take out the stopper to do so) it should be fine. Hopefully. It's beautiful

The two faced peach perfect is my favorite foundation for high end. My drugstore favorite is L’Oréal fresh wear!! I want to try the born this way, but I love the peach so much I’m afraid born this way won’t live up to the longevity of the peach!

I like the fresh nude foundation of The Body Shop. It is not really drugstore but worth a try. I own soft glam and norvina. Norvina is sleightly more neutral in undertone then soft glam. Soft glam is pretty warm and dark for my pale and neutral/cool skin. So Soft glam is a summerpalette for me, while i can use Norvina the whole year.

I own both norvina and sultry, and tbh I think I prefer the norvina palette. I think sultry is great but I like the neutral shades in norvina more. I also really like using shadows in both the palettes together, so I’d say getting the norvina palette could be useful for you

Sarah Hirji - Finding.lifes.beauty they are playing to a loophole and leaving info out. Logical harmony has a blog post about China’s laws but the simple version is: Wet n Wild is still subject to post production testing since they are physically present on shelves. You can’t avoid those. It’s no different to companies hiring 3rd parties to test or saying “as required by law”. It’s deceitful.

WnW just became available here in Germany and I was getting ready to pick up a few things when this news came out. I'm so glad I was waiting to finish some old things before doing that, and I'm disgusted that a company would a) lie about selling there in the first place and b) lie about being able to bypass animal testing. Huge moral and business mistake.

I still don't understand the thing about China testing everything on animals... I work with lab animals in the biomedical field and you can't test the same thing twice. Hell, since 2010 you cannot test cosmetics on animals in Europe, period. If the ingredients are already approved and tested there is no logical need to test them again, and most ingredients used in cosmetics are actually quite old and were tested decades ago. It really doesn't add up to me that the Chinese government would waste a considerable amount of money on testing every new mix of old ingredients that goes on their market. Also, animal testing of any kind has to be thoroughly documented and those documents have to be readily available to the public (after the new international legislation of 2010 in which both USA, Europe and Asia were involved) so i don't really see a way they could be testing a product without the company's knowledge. The whole business of lab animals in China is shady, I do admit that from an insider perspective, but it's not at bad as it's been made to be. At any rate, if it makes people feel better, the products are safe (they're already marketed so they are) so the animals won't have any troubles (besides being a lab animal, that is). Ps: I do work with lab animals, I am not against animal testing for medical purposes but I am opossed to cosmetic testing because a new lipstick is not worth the suffering of an animal however small it might be.

OMG - ok this is the first makue up video from you I watched so I was really shoked when i saw you without mapeup. Why would you make yourself look so much older?! Your face without anythings looks so fresh and young (and sweet, sorry but that's the best fit) the finished look is art, no question, but it's of a woman in her mid age ... makes you look so much older. I know young people want to look older but let me tell you, when you reach a certain age, you'll don*anything* to look younger ;-) So use the young look you definitly have and own it as long as possible. (Age comes faster as you'd think) 😊❤️
