I would definitely be yapping about the L’Oréal Color Riche lip liners. (The twist up version) They are long lasting . Not too creamy but glide effortlessly and the component is the best. I tried many drugstore lip liners but they all either broke or fell out of the packaging lol

My Recommendations: Lips- Maybelline Color Sensational lipsticks (cream finish) Retractable Eyeliner- Shades by Shan Gel eyeliner ( Glides on. I set it with powder eyeshadow and it lasts most of the day for me. I only touch it up a little in the evening if going out). Powder foundation- Loreal Infallible 24 hr Fresh wear (great finishing powder with coverage. I highlight with it too.) Eyeshadow: BH Cosmetics & Sydney Grace palettes are my favorites and deserve all the hype. Fantastic quality/price ratios. I need to try Adept, just haven't gotten around to that yet. I loove BH BFF, Naughty, Party in PR, Night in Paris... and SG Love's Journey, Enduring love, and Tropicolor.

I love my Maybelline Color Sensational lipsticks. If the bullet was thinner, i wouldn't try another lipstick again. I have thin, two toned, lips with fine lines for background. I like moisturizing, satin finish, smoothing, medium to full coverage lipsticks. The most disappointing was Lisa Eldridge Velvet affair. I bought the bullet, the liquid, and the lip liner. And i do not get the hype whatsoever. I Love her light/med coverage foundation though. The matte lipstick just isn't easy to apply imho, and with the lipliner it just looks makeupey to me; not remarkably longwearing either. Ill def try to make it work a couple more times...but i def wont be getting any more.

I’m surprised to hear that because I love her matte lipsticks with my whole heart but I never found them hard to apply. Are they thick or do you just mean the shape?

It goes on unevenly (bullet lipstick). I always have to use a lip brush to smooth it out. I have similar issues with the liquid. The lipliner goes on smoothly enough and it's long-wearing; I liked it the best of all 3 formulas, but I can see it under the lipstick when I'm done. Like the lipliner is full coverage and the lipstick isnt? There might be a way to finesse that, but I don't know how. It makes it look makeupey. The matte finish (perhaps the color too) brings out all the flaws in my face. I always find myself wanting to add coverage after applying it. If going matte, I prefer a demi matte, or low shine satin, like the Maybelline Superstay Ink Crayon, which imho is also a superior product at a much lower pricepoint. It comes with a sharpener on the bottom so you can always have fresh lipstick with a creamy consistency going on. Yeah, I'm juts REALLY dissapointed at the enjoyment/price ratio of Velvet affair.

I don't think of you as cool, as much as soft/muted when it comes to your skintone. (you read very light ochre on my monitor) Just because you're fair doesn't mean you're cool :) Warmish pinks (those nudie brown pinks) would probably look amazing on you. Since most of us wear bronzer plus blush, I guess it doesn't matter as much. I started wearing more coral/pink toned blushes since anything too peachy neutra brownl just read as bronzer or turned too orange & looked unnatural. It took quite a while to find a bronzer that worked for me since I do not tan or self tan so my face is very pale with a lot of redness that people mistake for a pink undertone (thanks rosacea)

I actually don’t think of myself as cool toned at all. I’m pretty neutral and if I add the smallest dab of an olive tone into my foundation it matches me perfectly.
