I'm having a "love myself as I am" moment right now where wearing my naturally curly hair after straightening it for almost 10 years and treating my curls, really focusing on skincare so I can glow without wearing makeup, caring for my body by eating healthy nutritious food and going to the gym, and most importantly caring for my mental health. I MISS this Jeffree!!! I would love for him to come back to doing these! I truly appreciate his own makeup artistry. The crazy shit his friends create are awesome but Jeffree himself is very talented and his technique is actually very wearable. I’ve learned a lot from him and it’s very similar to how my mom taught me. Before you come for me my mother is actually an amazing artist so she knows how to paint. But her eyes are similar to Jeffree’s being deep set and she taught me tricks that are Jeffree signature’s like the shimmer in the corner’s although she’s not as adventurous in color. His style is classic mixed with a love of color. You can tell he really studied that Kevin Aucoin book.

I’m just watching this video on dec,27,2019 and seeing Jeffree use the born to run pallet gives me some feels. That pallet was the first pallet I bout when I started dabbling in makeup. And today I bout my next 4. And I just want to say that, Jeffree, your such an inspiration. I know you’ll never see this I know. But you’ve taken my little gay self who was shy and had no self confidence and you inspired me to not give two shits. Now , as a freshman, I carry a coach purse around, I wear makeup to school, and the one thing you taught me to do , not give any shits.
