If the concealer is a little too light I typically add a little foundation to it. It helps alot! You look gorgeous as always!

That's actually a really good idea. I am fairer this winter than I usually am so all my concealers are too dark for me. But I do have a white foundation mixer that I can try mixing in instead of buying a lighter concealer to mix with my too dark concealers.

Both the Melted Chrome and the Metal Shock are veeeeery beautiful, pigmented and pack a huge punch (specially the melted chrome)! They probably performed poorly because of the other eyeshadows you applied first. You should try them by themselves and you'll see! 😘

I love the melted chrome singles. The only reason I can think of for them not working is the shadow underneath. I actually just went and looked at the shades I have. That is the only one I don't have. So I can't speak about the quality of that particular one. But, all of the others especially the silver is amazing.

I haven't liked the Essence eye shadows, however their lip products and highlighters are amazing. I just tried their Lash Princess mascara, and really like how it made my lashes look, held the curl and lasted all day without flaking.

Whenever I buy a concealer and it’s too light for me, I always put it on under my foundation. That way I don’t waste it and the foundation balances out the concealer color!

The OTHER blush shade is SATIN CORAL and they have other versions/shades of the highlight they have one for darker skin tones in 'BE MY SUNLIGHT'✨ They also have Mosaic Matte blushes!😊

I love essence color boost liquid lipstick the vinylicious version, it's like combining lipstick and gloss. Of course, I also love the shine shine shine, 06 bright on is great with any nude lipsticks. Soft contour lipliners, mascara, nail polish and some brushes are also worth trying.

Essence shade range is really inclusive ( at least here in Europe where the brand is from ). She said she couldn’t get darker shades because they were sold out

Alesmr they are slowly getting more inclusive. For a really long time I couldn‘t get a light enough shade (in Europe) for my skin and for being an international brand now there should be darker shades and shades with different undertones.

That's better put still only a small number of shades. What is interesting is that depending on the country they sell different shades.

Hey Jas, I have both the melted chrome and the liquid shadow you used and they both show up really gorgeous and metallic. I think the powdered shimmer you put down was so dry that those more metallic creamy formulas were having a hard time sticking down. You def need to try them again without that dry shimmer underneath it.

absolutely love the fact that you keep it real and do not edit to make everything seem perfect (like many do on yt) - i personally learn so much when you have a problem and work through it on camera and make it work. i think your makeup turned out very pretty but agree about essence and their color range - i am super fair/pale and can never find shades light enough especially with essence.

YAS, the Shine Shine Shine lipglosses are AMAZE. I'll never get over this formula being this cheap. Happiness in a Bottle is the best "your lips but better" nude pink, So Into It is a deeper, smokier "greyge-y" nude, Flirt Alert is a fun, sheer fuschia pink, and Bright On is the most insanely gorgeous multi-dimensional champagne that can highlight like there's no tomorrow. I'd recommend those 4 to anyone. I love how they're just the right amount of pigment, not too opaque or sheer so they give you just the right amount of color to be flattering, and they feel so plush and comfortably glide-y on the lips.

I had to pause the video to comment that I listened to a lot of people that said “sETtiNg YoUR eYe pRiMeR iS dUmB”, so I used to never set it, and I’d always get patchy results. I would see you do it in your videos, and never gave it a second thought cause it was your thing, but not mine. Well, one day I had excess powder on blender and I put it on my lids, and gurrrrr lemme tell you how flawless my eye look came out! I was living! Haven’t gone back since!
