Hi Soph! ❤️ A good mattifying spray is the one from The Body Shop that's called Mint Mattifying or something like that, it's a bit small for the price imo, but it really works!! BUT - while it says it's makeup friendly, you really have to fan it and make sure it dries before you touch your face, or the makeup will sometimes move underneath... 😣 It goes really shiny at first when you spray it obvs because it's wet but it dries down so matte and it's so refreshing in the summer too, I actually brought it to work last year to respray at lunch! 😁 But I would suggest tucking in your lips when you spray it because it doesn't taste very good... 😂

If you ever do want to try freckles again I would maybe suggest either using a less pigmented eyebrow pencil or try using the eyeliner like you did but do it underneath your foundation then use a foundation that’s a little more lighter coverage so they show through but look more natural

I have really oily skin like yours and I used to use so much power every day and recently I've been using minimal powder and only using it for my under eyes and where I blend bronzer and I personally think my skin looks so much better for it. When I had heaps of powder on and my skin became oily the powder would break up and my base would look super gross but without the powder on top when I get oily it just looks glowy and you can't see any separated foundation or anything like that and I can use a little bit of powder later in the day to decrease some of the shine without it becoming too heavy so I definitely recommend trying to use less powder in your routine and seeing what happens?
