Today you are flying with me on a QantasLink (a subsidiary of Qantas) Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 turboprop for a 460 km journey from Port Macquarie (population: 87,300) in New South Wales to Brisbane (population: 2.5 million) in Queensland . It is a tight connection flight as I just touch down from Sydney 30 minutes ago in flight QF 2162 (link: • Full Flight - QantasLi... ). The plane takes off from Port Macquarie Airport Runway 21 facing southeast followed by a right turn to track northwest inland. Between Bellbrook and Millbank our bird makes a slight right turn to track northeast, passing Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Lismore, Byron Bay under its right wing. Just south of Gold Coast, it makes a slight left turn to track north. Final approach is conducted over Moretan Bay passing over Jubilee Creek just before touching down onto Runway 19 of Brisbane International Airport.

I just came back from, Brisbane. I fly for a cargo airline. I have to say, that out of all the countries I have been to, Australia is probably where I feel the most comfortable.

did the propeller really slowed down during flight or was that an optical illusion

It is the optical illusion.

@@DrBearAviation thats because If the video is shot at 30 frames per second and the propeller rotates 30 times per second, it will be in the same position in each frame and appear to stand still.
