If anybody ever feels like truly wanting to be or feel like you’re in a plane just get headphones and put this on. Get any chair that has arm rests and push it against a wall so it wont rotate if it does. Then grab things that you would have with you on a flight like a pillow, neck rest, blanket Etc. and just get comfortable in that chair with those things, while having this audio on, just close your eyes and picture you’re in a plane. Try not to open them but move around in your chair like you are in a plane. It took me a few minutes and i mainly felt like it when the plane in the video took off but this truly made me feel like i was in a plane. And all thanks to this video, I am very happy. C:

Why do people Love flying so much babies crying no sleep I mean the best thing is take off but then they just turn on autopilot and nothings going on So I don’t understand how u love flying and watch videos of other people flying just because you love flying that’s a little desperate but ok
@sla314 жыл бұрын
FreeX Just because you don’t understand how something appeals to someone else doesn’t mean it’s any less valid than something you may be interested in. I can guarantee that there are things you are interested in that I would have very little interest in. Personally, I love flying, I love traveling, and I love aviation as a whole. i’m more than happy to throw on a two hour flight video and just let it play. That doesn’t mean I think everybody else should have to love it like I do... If that kind of stuff doesn’t appeal to you then fine. And if you don’t want to watch my videos, then I’m fine with that too. But, I’d appreciate if you’d let the people who do enjoy it, watch without trying to condemn their interests. Deal?

So, did I hear the flight attendant say that people could just sit wherever they wished on this flight? And if so, is that the case on all Southwest flights, or...? And would that not potentially pose a configuration setup problem for the pilots in that the plane's center of gravity wouldn't be pre-determined?
@xantara78914 жыл бұрын
On southwest you just pick a seat compare to other Airlines just gave sign seats
@sla314 жыл бұрын
Yes, as xan tara said, Southwest has no pre-reserved seats. Once you board, you can pick any open seat you want. And this is the case for all Southwest Airlines flights. As for weight and balance. Most Southwest flights are full. It's rare that I've been on a Southwest flight that wasn't basically full. On the rare occasion that I've been on a Southwest flight that wasn't full, the flight attendants make people spread out. They'll be telling everyone as they board something like "we're not full today folks. Spread out. One person per row please." Something like that.

I think something you can add is that in the middle of the flight instead of just looking out the window that camera could pan over the cabin some more and you could do some commentary
@sla314 жыл бұрын
That is a great idea. Such a great idea, that I do in fact already do it haha. Including in this video. At 41:50-42:50 for example. The problem is, there really isn't much to see. Once you've seen the inside of the cabin, it doesn't change, whereas the view out the window is constantly changing. Plus, it's against most airlines rules to record passenger or crew faces. It'd difficult to film the cabin once all 160 people are onboard without getting someones face. I do my best to abide by their rules, so I don't have anyone asking me to take down videos. Anyways, One thing that happens is that, because my videos are so long, it can be hard to find the 1-2 minute sections where I'm showing other things. So, for your first point, I show all of that when I board, and then again at some point during the video. As for commentary. That is not something I will do on my channel. My channel is about the aviation, our love for aviation, our shared enthusiasm for aviation, and the beauty that can be found in everyday aviation. You may have noticed, that besides my legs to show legroom, I am not in any of my videos. That's by design. Aviation is the star of my channel, not me. I don't want this channel to be about me. I don't want it to be about me reviewing airlines. People can make their own judgements without me telling them how to feel. So, I don't suspect that you'll be seeing any commentary on my videos anytime soon. Thanks for watching my friend!

No it is not. I wish it was. If you can figure out a way for that to be my job, then let me know. Believe it or not, all of the travel you see on this channel doesn't even have anything to do with my regular job. I don't work for any of the airlines, so I don't fly for free. And my regular full time job doesn't involve travel. Everything you see posted here is done on my own time, on my own dime. This channel started as a hobby that I would upload my aviation travels to for fun. Now, I upload 7-10 videos per week, and it's really turned into a second job that I lose money on. I don't keep track of my time working on the channel, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's more per week then my regular job. Most of the traveling I do now is solely for this channel. I have 20 flights booked between now and the end of March, and all 20 of them are to make sure I continue to have enough footage to meet my upload schedule. So, I really appreciate everyone taking the time to watch, comment, like, subscribe, etc. A ton of work goes into keeping this channel alive. Hope that helps answer your question my friend.

This was recorded with an iPone 11 Pro. And no. You are allowed to recored video on all major US Airlines. You do have to ask crew for permission to show their faces though.

What time did u land in Oakland? Based on the time of year and the sunset my guess is 430 or 5pm?
@sla314 жыл бұрын
We landed right about 5:20 PM. We actually were scheduled to land earlier, but we took a maintenance delay in Honolulu.
