Full Flight: Spirit Airlines A320 Orlando to Cleveland (MCO-CLE)

Hey guys! In this video, I fly aboard Spirit Airlines once again, this time en route to Cleveland, Ohio from Orlando, Florida! Typical for Orlando and all of Florida in the summer, there were a bunch of thunderstorms popping up around the region which caused MCO to halt all departing traffic for over 2 hours. Because of that, Airside 3 filled up more and more until the ground stop was lifted. The delay really didn't affect my flight a ton, but we still were delayed around 45 minutes. The flight itself was really pretty good for the sole reason that it was fairly empty. And in these COVID times and after sitting around a crowded MCO for hours, that's all a passenger could ask for. I go into what Spirit does regarding the pandemic more in the video, but in general, they're not doing good at all. The other big con about this flight was the gate agents who literally didn't inform anybody of any changes to the flight until they magically started boarding out of the blue. I really wonder if anybody missed this flight. But all in all, was a decent experience with some really cool views outside for most of the journey. Hope you guys enjoy!

Hey fun fact Spirit Airlines is in the middle of equipping all there airplanes with a new cabin and the new seats offer a full size tray table! I actually flew on there new cabin and it was awesome! The new cabin looks great!

Very nice- I have not been to CLE in a long time- but been past it- lots has changed since I was there last and wow- nice views landing- and on takeoff. Great video! I personally am a big fan of MCO, it’s my favorite US airport. I love how you take the trams from the main terminal to the separate concourses and just the view you get of the tarmac area and all the planes. Also I go on vacation to Disney all the time so when I fly to MCO, it usually means I’m going on vacation, which plays big into my reasoning of why I like it 😂

Cleveland Hopkins Airport used to be thriving in the 90's and 00's when Continental was the hub, based in Terminal C. Sadly, the airport, much like the city itself, is basically a ghost town now.

I would've been totally wiped out upon arriving home in Pittsburgh--don't know what time your day started but add in the ground stop,flight time and the 2.5hr drive home,that would do me in! Are we to assume you had enough energy left to attend that campfire gathering? As I was watching the progress of your trip,I was reminded of long ago with People Express Airlines,based out of EWR--they too were a low-cost airline--fare was paid onboard with one of those cc sliding imprint thingys,each checked bag cost $3,sodas/coffee was .50 and a snack pack was $3.00,PE was absorbed into Continental some years later

of course why do they not make any announcements of gate changes and boarding commencing they used to do it all the time but some airports dont do that, they need to bring that back like in Omaha they announce when boarding has begun for flights and when the flight has fully boarded and final boarding calls southwest does a great job of informing people even in crowded gate areas

The only problem I really have with Orlando and Florida highways in general is that they have a lot of tolls for their highways. When I was down in Orlando in 2019 I had to mark ‘avoid tolls’ in my gps apps.

when i flew from Omaha to Denver the crew was precise with flight time 1 hour 15 minutes 26 seconds the flight back was 1 hour 3 minutes due to the plane being a 737-800 instead of a 737-700 and that tail wind
