Hello Kay, I am 70 years old and I enjoy riding with you on your journeys. And, You are a great pilot. You make it enjoyable to watch as you explain your every move. My Dad, who is 94 now and he flew when he was a young man. I wanted to fly but my path didn't take me on it. However, when I fly with you it feels like i'm flying. Thank you for making these videos. May your flying be filled with exciting great weather. Take care.

Hi Kay. As a 70yo retiree, I really enjoy you and your plane a lot. I owned a '67 180 from '85 until the late 90s til I lost my medical. The differences between the 67 and your 68 are many. 67 had no quadrant, and trim was overhead like an old VW sunroof crank. Also the old bowtie yokes instead of your ramhorns.

These videos are so valuable. There are a lot of flying videos out there and those are great, but seeing a complete XC flight in action is helpful on so many levels. You explain things clearly and you keep it fun. Well done, and thank you!

Cold, almost clear but sunny TX skies, what a day to be a pilot. Best reason to try a sailplane flight is understanding their perspective. It is amazing to me how efficient those wings are, thank goodness for speed brakes. I had an instructor who was gray and very wise. He told me when searching for traffic don't stare in one place, gently move your eyes about. Well Kay here is why : "Peripheral Vision and Rod Cells: When you look directly at an object, the image falls on the central part of your retina, which contains cone cells. These cells are responsible for color vision and work best in bright light. However, if you’re in dim lighting, using your peripheral vision (looking just off to the side of the target) is more effective. This way, the image falls on the rod cells, which are sensitive to low light conditions. So, when searching for something far away, your peripheral vision can enhance visibility." provided by Bing. Cheers!

I've been enjoying watching your flying videos. I lived in Fredericksburg Texas for 20+ years and we would have lunch or dinner at the local airport occasionally. They have a nice little restaurant called the Diner next to the Hanger hotel. Have you ever been there? I think they have pretty good food served by good people. The Texas Hill County is some beautiful country. I grew up around pilots and got intrested in flying when my Dad was in the military. Also growing up listen to stories about my Great Grandfather and his good friend Charlie. My great Grandfather used to fly with Charles Lindbergh in St. Louis. My grandmother was actually born at the end of St. Louis International airport longest runway. Her family owned the land the airport is on now. The airport expanded and bought their land. That's where my great Grandfather first met and became very good friends with Charlie when he was doing mail runs out there. Again, enjoying your videos. I moved out of Texas acouple years ago so it's nice to see the Texas sights again. *May your air be clear, the flight be smooth, Little Red be safe and the sky be blue.*

I watched the James Bond film Goldfinger last night for the first time in a long time (and first time ever on my 4K HDR Sony big screen) and when the team of lady flying aces landed, their planes instantly looked familiar. I was like “hey, those are just like Little Red!” I’d never noticed before, but they were flying five shiny new-at-the-time Piper Cherokees. Alright! 👍
