Lucy - I don't know what is more beautiful: the pages in the book or your wonderful enthusiasm for all the images. I think it's a draw! I thoroughly enjoyed this video and wish the book was available on Amazon USA right now but I have made a mental note to keep looking. The book is too adorable to not color! Thank you so much for letting us take a peek at this great book through your joyous eyes! ❤

Lovely book, I definitely need it! The one with two girls and the bear is a German tale called Snow White and rose red, the bear is actually a prince who’s been cursed and the girls are kind to the bear instead of being scared. Was one of my favourites as a child 😊 Those little imps I was seeing as blue as well, I blame Harry Potter!

HI Lucy , I can tell from your narration how much this has lifted your spirits and i'm so happy for you. Although not to my taste I can see why you and so many others like them. Take care and enjoy.

Lucy the picture with the animals stacked on each other is from the Brothers Grimm story The Musicans of Bremen, one of my favorites growing up, so much so that I have a huge rug in my office with a pic of the stacked animals on it

Think the fish may be "The Incredible Mr. Limpet". It's about a man who dreams of becoming a fish...then meets "Lady Fish" for some romance. He saves people above on land during the war by drawing submarines away from their target. Loved the movie! Was done in the 1960's in US.

I think that perhaps the one legged soldier is The Steadfast Soldier…it is wonderful fairytale. Captain Kangaroo in United States used to read it showing all of the pictures. Captain Kangaroo was a children’s morning show with the Captain, Mr Green Jeans and other characters.

Lucy, there is an app for phone or pad that will translate for you. Just hold it over what you would like to read and bingo, it is in English.

Best to consult Google Translate....Sagen - 'state', make known', claim, declare etc etc.

Sägen is like 'tells', story telling. That's probably why it translates to 'say'. I am not Swedish, but Dutch, in Dutch we say 'zeggen', which sounds almost the same
