What does it mean when I go to read codes and it states P0302 $07E8 Generic Then underneath it states Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected ? Please 🙏

That diagnostic trouble code simply means you have a misfire detected in cylinder number two. This could be mechanical issue, ignition issue, or possibly a fuel delivery problem, causing the misfire code in cylinder number two.

This will not work on 2001 Alfa Romeo 147 or am I using it wrong? Wont connect to the vehicle it displays communication error

What is the TAC_PCT value? Mine is stuck at 47%, any idea what component affects this value? Thanks much

The TAC is the throttle actuator control. Not exactly sure about the PCT value. I have a feeling it is the learned percentage value or possibly or the current percent the throttle plate is at (throttle angle). The Electronic Throttle Control System (ETCS) is composed of the throttle actuator, Throttle Position (TP) sensor, Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) sensor, and ECM. The ECM operates the throttle actuator to regulate the throttle valve in response to driver inputs. The TP sensor detects the opening angle of the throttle valve, and provides the ECM with feedback so that the throttle valve can be appropriately controlled by the ECM.

What does EGR n/a and O2 n/c stand for? I know n/a means not availabe, and n/c not connected, but can this scanner read this sensors? Thanks

You might be referring to the emission readiness monitors.

You can check for codes or read live data with the key on engine off or with the engine running. It will work both ways. However, most of the time you want the engine running when reading live data to get the fuel trims and engine performance readings.
