Resetting Check Engine Light: E39 M5 | ANCEL AD410

In this video I reset my check engine light on my E39 M5. It was just for the gas cap, which is a common light so easy to take care of. The ANCEL AD410 was easy to use and I am glad I finally have a code scanner in my arsenal. Go check them out if you are in the market!

Hi, Ancel have another models that erase the airbag light. Check the AD610 model. It's around 77.64Usd and will solve that airbag light. You can check reviews in youtube.

Just reset mine and took it to get inspected. The machine at the place said it's not ready! Oops. Guy told me to drive 120 miles and come back. Hopefully it stays off! Definitely worked though. I think the new emissions tests are more strict, would not surprise me.

My old E46 airbag light constantly lit , turned out to be a failed passenger seat occupancy sensor. When these car reach a certain age the sensors starts to fail , you can buy specific scan tools just for airbags. I had one for my old e46. Just Google "bmw srs reset."

Airbag codes are an electronics problem, loose connection etc, nothing to do with the engine persee. I tried to clear the airbag light many times on my wifes old car to no avail, it's always auto electrician time.
