Thinking back, I can say hand on heart, "Fair play brothers", because Akira was 'out of sorts' back-along, and the NZ key-pad warriors were writing Reiko off, too, after a slip in form. The Bledisloe Cup has been contested between NZ and Aus since 1931 (although the actual Cup was made in 1932). Depending on circumstances it's been either a single match or a two or three match series. NZ have won 110 matches, Aus 37, and there have been plenty of close ones. The two countries have strong cultural and historical ties but have always had a fierce rivalry in sports, and the Bledisloe Cup is one of the main expressions of that. NZ have dominated in recent years, but Aus has also had successful eras.

@@tazwildcat7 teams are given their ranks based on how many points they win by and how much the opposition scored. The more successful the team is in game especially with a bigger win/loss margin, the higher their ranking goes. The All Blacks are usually at the top becuase we've always had high scoring wins against majority of countries, but the world rugby rankings have changed slightly in the past year to represent every team on their successes overall.

Mauls in general, line outs in particular, how are they NOT offside once the ball is moved behind the front row of contact? There are 5 to 7 players in advance of the ball taking active part in play by pushing opponents. In gridiron American football, this would be countenanced because "blocking" is a lawful feature of the game. Should these mauls not become rucks, Ie ball is ripped off front row player and immediately given to scrum half OR put to the ground and turned into a ruck....within the compass of the Laws of the game?

Because that's the definition of a maul. As long as the front players are bound to the maul then the ball can be held at the back. And as long as it keeps moving forward, the ball doesn't have to be released. As soon as someone leaves the maul they must retire behind the last foot, and can rejoin at the back if they want to. If the ball goes to ground it becomes a ruck and different laws apply.
