One thing I didn't see mentioned, so sorry if you said it and I missed it: there'll be a couple new glyphs to discover via the daily CD and Book of Glyph Mastery. I know a lot of scribes had learned all the glyphs so they might have been vendoring the tomes and don't even have snowfall ink anymore for the daily research.

@@Athena_Lari I don’t. I believe it’s only 1-2 but Blizzard disabled the ability to copy characters to the beta so I had no way to get new books to the scribe I’d copied over. And about 2-3 recipes to discover daily, I think.

From what I've been able to find, it's at ~4 glyphs from Minor Inscription Research, ~7 glyphs from Northrend Inscription Research, 1 glyph from a new Technique (colossus smash) that you'll be able to buy from a vendor in Twilight Highlands (so I sincerely doubt we'll be able to get this during pre-patch). The rest of the unknowns appear to be available at the trainer, but I have 5 that I can't find any clues for. Some of these might be overlap from glyphs we can already learn in WotLK but the item ID's change when going to cata. Some of these glyphs might be ones that weren't added in the pre-patch, but were added in later cata patches.

How do you learn new glyphs past Northrend Inscription Research?

Hey, I'm sorry for not replying, I wasn't getting notifications this week! You can buy books of glyph mastery from the Auction House, usually pretty cheap, I believe they give about another 56 glyphs.

I think that list of charred glyphs from 2010 is incomplete. It says there's only 13 but I believe there are 17. Edit: This might not be correct, as some of these might not go charred until MoP. Ah thank you, I also cross checked the charred glyphs using All The Things & a few of yours I have down as changing for Cata then charring for MOP. I believe we can use the wowhead database to give a clearer picture, will look into it

@@Seren-wow You might be right! Maybe these do go to Charred in MoP instead, and that's why they're in the wowhead database like that. There's also at least 2 glyphs that appear to get learned automatically when hitting level 75, Druids learn Glyph of Faerie Fire and Mages learn Glyph of Slow (which in WotlK was Glyph of Living Bomb) I'm not sure about this. And a Glyph of Envenom (rogue) got removed in Cata at some point.

Hey, you just right click the glyph in your bag. Then once you learnt the glyph, you open up the glyph UI and click the one you want then put it in the slot

For you persosally maybe. But nowadays cata is regarded as one of the most fun expansions for many players. Even more can't wait until MoP classic is released.
