Thanks for the breakdown. I'm glad you're enjoying the new controls. The LOCAL vs PLAYER explanation is way off, though :) PLAYER space doesn't introduce any delay, and it's nothing like expo. Some players like to hold their controller more upright, and so the controller's yaw isn't aligned with their own yaw. Player space handles this automatically. Otherwise, great explanations, and great guidance for players looking to make the most of it. Looking forward to checking out more of your content.

I have been using gyro for 2 years (it has always been on Nintendo Switch) and I have a tip; ONLY USE LOCAL GYRO ORIENTATION. What this does is it lets you have more control by using all 3 rotation axis. This combined with a fast sensitivity and no deadzone makes you have the best and most accurate mechanics. Don't use the smoothing threshold, it makes you have less control as well. Also have the build/editing multiplier higher. Sorry for the long opinion. This is obviously your video, i'm just speaking from experience lol.

I like that you gave a tutorial, but a couple things: First of all, how the fk did you find 3.5+ was the best linear gyro settings by yourself? Next, the reason acceleration is good is because gyro is like using mouse with a small mouse pad, you don't have the space for both precision and speed, so accel makes up for that. CSGO pros like xantares use mouse accel so it's proven to work, it just gives you way more options besides having to use high gyro sens Lastly, local vs player just means this: Local - gyro movement based on controller center Player - gyro movement based on floor center Player is easier to learn, easier to get better at, more natural, more consistent. Local is fine though, there's just not a real reason to use it unless you play on roll
