If you have loose tension then just go down hook sizes until you make guage. It's easier and less painful than hunching over and going full caveman on your project lol.

Hi 😊 I use thread net spool saver it’s supposed to be for sewing spools but they stretch to fit yarn balls too you can get it on a roll too inexpensive too 😊

I finished my first Halloween / Fall afghan! Orange, black, green and a bunch of grays up to the color silver. ALL sparkle except the very brightest orange. Last year I started your sew along granny square blanket. I even got some sewn together. I wasn't impressed with my colors, joining or bumpy squares. I picked it apart and started more squares and blocking all squares. I love the little ghosts and other things I have seen this year, sewn on blocks. I am going to add them to some of last year's squares and finish that blanket too!
